A Blessing I didn’t know I needed

What spirit-filled woman Madi is! I found this book so full of very relatable moments and truth. I also found myself humbled by her words over and over again. Living in todays world with all the pressures of society and stigmas, Madi reminds readers what it genuinely looks like to walk in God’s truth and grace. I recommend for every woman looking for some inspiration to be bold in faith.

Full of good fruit, but could use theological improvement

While in many ways, I believe women around the world could do very well to imitate Madi's noble character, gentle spirit, and all-around praiseworthiness—I would lovingly urge her to meditate more deeply on whether or not the Bible promotes "self-love" and "not striving for perfection." While my intention here is to build her and others up, these points stuck out to me: as I found them more difficult to agree with.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable read, and she has a very comforting voice! She is the type of woman who is attractive, not merely because of her looks—but even more because of her heart for Jesus and others. As a Christian guy, I can confidently say that she gives a stunning and challenging example of what we men of God should look for. Madison truly displays that a woman can be very beautiful and fear the Lord—at the same time!

You go, girl.

Her walk in life and doing it with God is very encouraging. I recommend reading for no reason or especially if you're struggling.

Not the best

I appreciate the message, but all Madi shares could have been said in half the words. Many of the same principles were repeated making it sound very redundant. It mig be be better for young, high school age girls. The stories/“lessons” were pretty juvenile. Contains very little about the Bachelor if that’s what you’re interested in.

Excellent book for a new believer.

I’ve read several Christian books so there wasn’t a lot of groundbreaking advice or revelations. I had a hard time relating to her struggles because mine are way deeper, but everyone has their own story. There were a few good points at the beginning about discipline and the story of Esther that I will carry with me, but my interest fell off the more that I read. I think it’s an excellent book for a new believer but I was personally hoping for something deeper.

Do not read this if you’re expecting Bachelor tea. There’s not much in it. And I don’t believe that was her purpose for writing it.
