Publisher's Summary

What doesn’t kill you makes you a killer.

Santino DiLustro changed me. You can’t spend time in bed with the devil without getting addicted to the heat.
Before him, I was a girl. Innocent and weak. Now, I’m a woman. A fighter. A killer.
I’ll burn the world down for him. Shatter the sky. But I will not break.
No. I will rise up and destroy whoever dares to threaten what my king has built, because I am forever his queen.

❤️ BINGE-WORTHY FULL-THROTTLE MAFIA MAYHEM & LOVE ❤️

Wow, CD Reiss has certainly looped and twisted all the non-stop drama for Violetta and Santino because they go through emotional Heaven and Hell in this final breathtaking conclusion to the epic DiLustro Mafia Trilogy. Their rebirth at the end will have been challenged and hard won.. it will have been bathed in battles, betrayals and bloodshed.. and it will have been driven by the powerful passion, deep respect and all-consuming love this dynamic couple have for each other.

Because, beneath this Mafia King’s hardened, handsome exterior, lies a heart that beats for a woman he craves like a drug. He wants to passionately consume her each time he sees her.. and he wants to possess, protect, punish and push her emotionally, sexually and physically to her limits. However, he is not alone in their all-consuming chemistry and love, because beneath his wife’s once naive exterior, lies a true heart that will bravely stand-up for justice and challenge a Don to change Mafia laws and traditions. Her heart beats for the husband she loves more than life.. and she will fearless roar a ruthless, savage, warrior’s roar that will crown her Queen of his jungle. Their enemies will strike like snakes.. and strike hard with brutal, heartbreaking and bloody consequences in their greed to possess the all-powerful Crown.. but a roar to avenge, character strength, shrewd moves, emotional courage and enduring all-powerful love will be their ultimate destruction.

Worth a credit? Yes, a very creditworthy conclusion to a climactic Trilogy that has so many steps and stumbles as suspenseful hazards threatened to derail the DiLustro Dynasty. There’s evolution in the characters.. however, I am very happy to report Santino remained his possessive, uber-alpha, bossy, demanding and sexy sensual self 😉😉. It’s filled with all-consuming seizmic chemistry that sexually charges the chapters and especially the erotic and hot scenes.. and their passion and love drives the story headlong to its tumultuous happy ever after ending. And finally, the dual POV narration by Emma and Antonio was the driving force that made this gifted author’s world-building talents shine. Together, they forged all the delicious feels in her well-paced layered plot.. and they gave heartbeats and souls to the challenged characters in this highly addictive and totally entertaining, Mafia love story.

Whine whine whine

I liked the story line but more than 3/4 of all 3 books were just whining. Violeta just whined through all of them . She was stolen she was sold , her parents ,her aunt , her uncles ,her husband , her sister . Everything was just a whine fest . I just got totally annoyed . I really wanted to like it but the whining just got to me !

The 3 books were good.

As a Reiss fan, I liked these books, but they could have easily been a duet. I enjoyed the depth of her other books compared to these. The shakiness of the female narrator got better by the 3rd book. By that I mean it was used less. It was hard to get thru the first book with its overuse. Save it for the truly necessary conversations. Also with so much inflection it may have slightly changed the authors meaning.

I'm undecided about this series

the first book I had hell getting through I think they drug it out so long with her hating him and him not telling her what was going on same thing with book two and I tried so hard to love book 3 she was quite whiny a lot of the time that drove me crazy and burning the crown was the stupidest part of the book but that's my opinion I just wasn't happy overall with this series and I wanted to love it

Very Entertaining. Loved the story .

Loved the surprise towards the end, but more importantly how the relationship turned from hate to a very powerful love.

Definitely one of the best!

This trilogy by CD Reiss, The DeLustra Arrangement is the exact way I love my mafia romances. Lots of action, really hot sex, push and pull between the H&h. The story is well done. Kept me interested from book one to three and sad it ended. I laughed, I almost threw the phone, I was sad. It has it all! Love this author. She really knows how to spin a story!

It’s a 3 star story.

I’m not overly happy this trilogy cost me two credits. Thankfully I got book one in a $5 sale. The story could have easily been two books instead of three. Book 1 and 3 were too wordy and slow moving. There were parts that had good action and suspense, but there was so much filler in between that I lost interest.

I appreciated Violeta’s growth through the story as a “strong woman”, but it was a bit far fetched in the short time span the book covers. She also gives up everything she was working towards which somewhat contradicts the “girl power” mantra the author seemed to want to convey.

Narration was ok. Emma was a bit whispery and whiny at times, but I loved her male Italian voice and her voice for Gia’s character. Antonio had great Italian and was good overall, but sometimes it sounded like he had a mouthful of saliva and needed to swallow it. 🤷‍♀️

Am I sorry I listened? No, not really, but I wish I would have picked other items on my wishlist first. I guess that’s what happens when the $5 sale lures you in with the first book. 😔
