Publisher's Summary

Can these opposites turn up the heat...without burning down the house?

House-flipping sensation and YouTube star Maggie Nichols can’t wait to dig into her next challenge. Arriving in tiny Kinship, Idaho, with only a cot and a coffeemaker, Maggie is prepared to restore a crumbling Victorian mansion in four months or less. She has her to-do lists, her blueprints, and her team. What she doesn’t have is time for sexy, laid-back landscaper Silas Wright.

The man takes flirtation to a whole new level. And he does it shirtless...sometimes pants-less. He and his service school-dropout dog are impressively persistent. But she’s not interested in putting down roots. Not when fans tune in to watch her travel the country turning dilapidated houses into dream homes. A short-term fling, on the other hand, could fit nicely into her calendar. After all, Maggie remembers what fun is like. Vaguely.

As their summer gets downright steamy, Silas manages to demolish the emotional walls she’s spent years building, sending Maggie into a panic. He’s the wrench in her carefully constructed plans. With the end of the project looming, she has a decision to make. But how can she stay when her entire career is built on moving on?

Perfect balance

This was way more than just a romantic comedy. It had the perfect balance of depth, comedy, heart, spice, and romance. This is the kind of book you immediately pass to a friend and tell them they have to read it!

HEA 101

I picked the audiobook for MMO and wasn't disappointed! Such a good, positive story, filled with healthy relationships and a few unhealthy ones that get the work they need. Add in a local mystery, fun animals, great community and extended family, and it's a classic recipe for Happily Ever After! I love the female lead being a successful trades person and the male being so well adjusted! Emma Wilder does a great narration, full of voices and emotions. Proud for Lucy and her book being available in stores.

Wonderful Story and Characters

Another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ book by @scorelucy!
Maggie Moves On was just what I needed. The storyline and characters are wonderful.
I loved Maggie's 'I can do it' attitude. She has an inner strength that was born out of necessity and life, but she had vulnerabilities that Silas was able to pick up on quickly.
It was love at first sight for Silas. He knew from the moment he met Maggie that she was someone special and he reminded her often that they were going to be a couple regardless of the amount of times that Maggie disagreed. However, Silas and his easy going ways, his charm and his handsome face were finally able to break through Maggie's wall.

MMO was a solid story with solid characters. You won't regret listening to the audiobook.

Really good! But a few probs I had listening.

This could’ve easily been a five stars! If only a better narrator and more drama(didn’t have to be too much but at least to hold my interest). Okay I have a few problems with the book, 1st off I was kind of bored in the middle of it, Felt like it dragged on too long, nothing really too interesting. However sticking through it Maggie and Silas‘s love was too good not to read this book over! Also Emma Wilders voice sounds like she’s constantly whining🙄 I don’t regret listening to this audiobook because it really was great but these are just some suggestions for a better experience.

Fun, witty story and characters

Had fun listening to this book. Wish my everyday banter could be as witty as the characters in the story.

I loved the story, it’s about love, family, and adventure. I love that at the end of the book it went on by saying what happened to each important person in the story.

Cute and Corny

If you are looking for a fun read with a little spice and a corny HEA, this is a good one. I liked how both characters showed development and growth by the end of the book. I liked the strong female lead, and the home renovation tie ins. All in all, would recommend!
