Don’t bother

I bought this in hopes it would be exciting and catchy... there was no excitement. The characters lacked, the story was bad. I hated every second of this book.

4 Magical Stars

This is an omnibus of 4 short books. It's slow to start. Lots of details. Like the first book is just them traveling to the Academy. I didnt realize they were done more like episodes. It reads like one large book though. The third book was when things started to pick up and get interesting. Before that I found myself getting distracted. I was interested enough to keep going obviously Lol Overall I enjoyed it and will continue the story as it's left on a bit of a cliffhanger!

I was SO impressed with this narrator! She did a TON of different accents. Not just between men and women but actual accents. She really brought the story to life. Loved her!

Nap time

The story was so boring, I fell asleep. No action. No plot. Boring dialog.
Made it to Book 2 before I gave it up. Requesting a refund.

A whirlwind adventure from the first breath

This story held constant action and a new world to explore. So many great sibling relationships and family love woven into the tale. I wasn't ready for it to end.
The narrator did a fantastic job with so many characters. I was impressed with the many accents she was able to give and bring life to.

Great kids /Young adult.book.

Enjoyed story but it did take to the end of book 4 to get really interesting,so as to make you want to read next books,it worked,I'm intrigued.
Narrator was great bought characters alive with her different voices.Very good.

Ends before the story gets told

Each book is really just a part rather than its own book. Big build-up, but the book ends just as something interesting actually happens. There are a lot of long drawn-out descriptions for unnecessary things without proper details about significant things. The book has potential but finishes just as things start to get interesting. I was very disappointed. I won't be wasting my time on the next instalment if there is one.

At times, frightening and dramatic, others magical

Book 1 First Spell
Two young people, left in safe keeping with their uncle, are 'sold' and are transported via coach, which is subsequently raided.
The truth is explained, By a ghostly presence, that they were being besieged by dark magicians.
It's an adventurous beginning, to seems to be an interesting saga.

Book 2 Winged Pursuit
Woken from sleep, to a magical war on the roof, the dark wizards again were attacking on the back of the small dragon like creatures.
Dramatic scenarios occur, and the young woman learns more of the mystical world she finds herself in.

Book 3 Unexpected Agents
We meet new teachers and students, as well as attend a couple of lessons, although the fight and continued infiltration of dark wizards take up a lot of time.

Book 3 Improbable Ally
Being naive and unwittingly being dragged into something that could be deadly, for magic users might be scary, but for those without magic, it could be terrifying.
Luckily help comes from an unlikely source, with an added bonus of learning a new magic trick.

These books seem very short, ending just as the story seems to be warming up.
