Publisher's Summary

She’d willingly march into hell...just not with him.

Fiercely loyal to her country, Nadine will do whatever it takes to destroy the ancient evil threatening her world - anything except allow a wild savage to put his mark on her.

Plagued by survivor’s guilt, Magnus the Vast vows to do whatever it takes to bring home the friend he left behind. Claiming the beautiful hellcat who wants his head is a convenient bonus...one he won’t let her get out of.

Bound together, Nadine and Magnus must rely on one another to complete their mission and save their people. Easier said than done for the woman-warrior who thinks her new ally a domineering brute, and the sly barbarian who is all too happy to play the part.

They’ll walk into the pit of the earth, and they’ll do it together - or they may never walk out.

Adventurous & gripping! Chef´s kiss narration!

Denali Day´s writing continues to be magnificent. She always paints fantastic visuals in great detail allowing you to escape into her world. Although her stories are low steam, I just enjoy the story-telling full of adventure, mystery, suspense, mystical creatures, barbarians, and fierce women, plus Shane East taking you through these tales aurally is one experience not to be missed.

The story picks up where Ivan the Bold ends. Magnus and Nadine’s story is certainly a powerful enemies to lovers tension-filled slow burn. They both have their own reason´s to destroy a common enemy. Nadine is her own woman, strong, fierce and distrusts everything and everyone as she had to fight for a place in this world every day of her life making her build strong walls around her emotions and heart. Magnus is plagued by guilt since he and a few others were rescued and escaped an evil adversary but had to leave someone special to him behind. Now, armed with a special artifact that seems to free creatures from an evil control, plus the help of the terrifying Nozverak, Magnus & Nadine plus some of the Ebronian army need to work together to fight this common enemy. This also means making sacrifices, ones that do not sit well with Nadine. Will this barbarian break through her strong walls and finally let her feel again and will they achieve what they seek out to accomplish?

Bravo Shane East, this was another flawless incredible performance. I swear he is just amazing getting into all these characters and giving us all these different voices. Oh boy, the voice he gave the Nozverak Horde King is truly something, booming and chilling! Another epic performance!

Magnus the Vast is the 4th instalment of the Dokiri Bride tale. What I really like about this series aswell is the contingency of an overall story, so if you decide to pick this up, start with “Hollen, the Soulless”, now I am excited for Sigvard the Nameless, who will conclude this gripping adventure.
