Story
As if he doesn't have enough to handle between running outlaws out of Cheyenne, keeping his brothers out of trouble, and avenging his father's death, Sheriff Sawyer McCade's meddling mother just dumped a mysterious mail-order bride on his doorstep. One woman can be more trouble than a band of renegades, and while this one has him all stirred up, he'd rather get to the bottom of the story she isn't telling. Rose Parker had it all - until a web of danger and deceit sends her running to Cheyenne posing as a mail-order bride. Escaping the evils of New York seems sensible until she meets the unsuspecting sheriff who didn't ask for her, has no intention of marrying her, and won't rest until he uncovers her secret and sends her back home.

Sweet Historical Romance
I enjoyed this short story, but didn’t really care for the narration too much. Each male voice was either too similar to another or just kind of weird sounding. The women’s voices were varied and normal sounding. The cadence was stilted as well.
The train scene was my favorite part!

Ok read
This was not my favorite story by this author but it was still likable. I was not as engaged as I was in the previous story and the other stories that I have listened to by this author. The narrator was still great and enjoyable to listen to. I am sure others might enjoy this one more than I did. I will continue to read this series.

Sassy, exciting and humorous
Any additional comments?
Short sweet and to the point a story where mother is pushy and daughter said over my dead body. The story is interesting and keeps the listeners attention. The story is such fun with excitement and some danger. Isabelle is spunk, determined and knows her own mind. John is a wonderful gentleman that steals your heart from one scene to the next. The kick is the surprise he gives his new bride to be if I didn’t already love him I would have fell at his feet.
The narrator really brings to life a story of friendship, compassion and danger in a well thought out audio with wonderful emotion. I really enjoyed her character voices from her sexy men to her sassy women. There is no background noises, no repeating of words and no breaks that I could tell. You can hear the sassiness in Isabelle’s voice from how she deals with her mother, her best friend and the man she will marry. I thought her performance was wonderful as she paints vivid pictures in your mind that you have no trouble seeing without closing your eyes.
I liked how this story plays out. My heart beat fast at the danger on the train and how sassy Isabelle is when it is all over. She is no light weight but takes it on the chin even smiling and teasing her new husband to be.

A little suspense, a little romance!
Another sweet and fun romance for this series, Karla Gracey brings us Isabelle and John. Isabelle is a woman from a privileged background that is not happy with the suitors her family is trying to have her wed. John is the new sheriff in Faith Creek trying to rebuild his life after the death of his wife. The two correspond and Isabelle sets off to meet John. Little does she know, she is traveling directly into harms way, and who better to save her? A little suspense, a little romance and the perfect story is born!
A wonderful narration by Danielle O'Farrell is given for this story, her performance is perfect for this series.
