A very entertaining story

Make No Bones About It, the second installment in Ann Charles' Dig Site Mystery series finds Quint and Angelica back in the jungle. There is edge of your seat excitement with snakes and monkeys along with more than a little paranormal activity. It's a fun, sexy and exciting listen! Lisa Larsen did an AMAZING job with the Maya and Spanish. Her German accent was spot on as well.
This is another great story by Ann Charles. Looking forward to the next installment!

recording to staticky in some places

there are points in the recording where the background sound is clicks and pops makes it hard to keep focused on the words. I even tried different headphone and it didn't help

Silly sex scenes

Not a bad story although the ending is a bit weird. i don't read much romance literature so I'm no expert but the sex scenes and dialogue were just silly.

Meh...

The book could have been half the length if the author would have cut even half the sexual innuendos, and flirting between the 2 characters. Even with half it would have made the point. Also would have like if the author had a more Hispanic accent when it came to the Spanish characters.

crashing disappointment

I was so hopeful before listening to this story, and the story was indeed pleasantly titillating ... for 11 to 12 hours. Then the crashing disappointment came like a slap to the face. Such a fun and intoxicating story dissolving into rubbish. Am childishly crestfallen. Or just honestly disappointed? When I spend 15 hours listening to one kind of story, I don´t appreciate ending suddenly up in an alternative universe. A 15 hours long story should not suddenly decide to become a different kind of story in the end. Silly is a good fun, but when you expect more or something totally different, the danger is you won´t enjoy it. I see a lot of people enjoying this story, and I can understand that. There is so much potential here. But these people probably did know what was in store for them from the start. Not expecting a totally different kind of story.
