Publisher's Summary

How can we prepare for an event that is literally beyond anything humanity has ever faced?

Making Contact presents multiple perspectives on what no longer can be denied: UFOs and their occupants are visiting our world. The book answers questions which remain in the wake of the recent Pentagon’s disclosures as to who and why these beings are here.

The volume contains original writings by the leading experts of the phenomena such as: Linda Moulton Howe, Earthfiles reporter; Whitley Strieber, best-selling author of Communion; Professor John E. Mack, former head of the Harvard Medical school of psychiatry and an alien abduction investigator; Darryl Anka, internationally known for his communication with the extraterrestrial Bashar; Nick Pope, former assistant to the UK Ministry of Defense investigator into UAPs /UFOs; Grant Cameron, expert on American presidents and UFOs; Drs. J.J. and Desiree Hurtak, globalists and founders of the worldwide organization, The Academy for Future Science; Caroline Cory, director of Superhuman and ET: Contact; Mary Rodwell, author of the New Human about star-seed children; Henrietta Weekes, actress and writer, expressing the poetic aspects of making contact. Alan Steinfeld, contributes and curates the collection with 30 years of experience with the subject. The foreword by George Noory of Coast to Coast AM kicks off the volume with his veteran overview of the need to wake up to the “new realities of extraterrestrial existence”.

At this critical juncture in the government’s official acknowledgement of the reality of UFOs/UAPs, scientists, politicians, and mainstream news outlets have no idea what to make of these startling revelations or the outpouring of sightings and “contact” experiences currently being reported on a global scale. The book stands as the most comprehensive clarification to date on the intent and intelligence behind the phenomena. The variety of viewpoints expressed in the volume provide a solid foundation for the “preparation of the greatest challenge to ever face humankind.

Making Contact stands as the essential handbook for embracing the most exalted moment in history: Meeting the cosmic others.

mostly highly delusional

Quality of content is roughly inverse to its chapter: We start off with a great Nick Pope chapter, then Grant Cameron's is also worth a listen. I recommend stopping there (and skipping the long introduction deriding science).

I heard it all and, aside from first two chapters, and moments of others such as Dr Mack's, these were crap, some I would have to say intelligence-insultingly stinky.

As Carl Sagan has explained better, professionals in contact with extraordinary information must bring something useful forth, or at least try to explain why they can only ever come back with useless, vague garbage.

Hybrids & the Gospel?

Incredibly interesting. Caused me to think more deeply about the concept of hybrids and the Gospel of Christianity. Would man's sin become attributed to hybrid children through the human parent? Would the alien parent remain free of the spiritual battle we humans fight between light and love and dark and hate or apathy? Most of the discussions were thought-provoking. Although I have never experienced such things as were discussed, I have a great empathy for the terror and panic (and sometimes pain) these individuals have endured, no matter what the reason. Listen and see what questions come to mind. CW

a must read for the curious

this book covers a ton of ground in terms of point of view and experience. i have been able to synthesize a lot of my curiosity and experience through the contributors. it is the depth and variety of experiences and paradigms that make this book an instant classic.

Great listen

This kept me listening until I finished the book. With alot of books out right now on this subject it's hard to stand out. This one did, very creative with the interviews and discussions with very great authors and experiencers in this field. I am pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this book. for people still questioning what reality really is. This is perfect.

For the open-minded skeptic

Being someone with a curious mind, I listen George Noory show whenever I have a chance to stay up late. That's how I found out about this book. I've found this book very interesting, but of course this is probably not for someone who has already things figured out and probably won't be conviced even if evidence was presented. I've always felt that we are part of something bigger even if at the present we are in this little planet and with all our limitations. The only thing that we know for sure is that we exist in this form.

Well done

This is a wonderful collection of essays and extracts from a number of writers and researchers into the phenomenon. The thread was smooth and avoided the current contentious politically charged social talking points. This gives the work a fair chance of remaining a rather timeless examination of the mystery.

An all-around excellent book

This book is good for anyone who is already open minded or for anyone who is skeptical. It is well researched, developed and put together. I particularly like the way that many voices got involved to present and I just can’t say enough about what an awesome job has been brought forth! Incredible teamwork, passion Tander mixed with professionalism are all aspects of this stellar work! I recommend this to anyone who is already a believer to anyone who is even slightly curious. Fabulous job Alan and team!
