Publisher's Summary

Do you want to know the techniques of Dark Psychology? Do you think someone is using manipulation methods to manage your actions? Do you feel that your life is getting out of control?

If you want to understand the effects of mental manipulation, to recognize and contrast them instantly, then keep reading.

Dark psychology can be seen as the study of the human condition, in relation to the psychological nature of the different kinds of people who prey on others. The fact is that every single human being has the potential to victimize other people or other living creatures. However, due to social norms, the human conscience, and other factors, most humans tend to restrain their dark urges and to keep themselves from acting on every impulse that they have. However, there is a small percentage of the population that is unable to keep their dark instincts in check, and they harm others in seemingly unimaginable ways.

What kinds of traits malicious and exploitative people have? What are the psychological drives that lead the people to act in ways that are against social norms and are harmful to others?

With Manipulation and Dark Psychology, you will learn how to tell if the people in your life harbor ill intentions against you. Or if new love interests who seem charming at the beginning are likely to turn into selfish and manipulative people once you have let them into your life.

You will learn:

  • What Are Dark Psychology Techniques Used by Mental Manipulators
  • What Are the Adverse Effects Dark Psychology Have on People’s Mind
  • How People with Dark Personalities Traits Behave to Control Your Life
  • How to Instantly Detect Narcissistic People and How to Effectively Defend Yourself Against Their Psychological Abuses
  • How to Recognize the Manipulative People Quickly
  • How to Spot Covert Emotional Manipulation in Relationships and at Work
  • How Toxic People Choose Their Favorite Victims
  • Simple Strategies to Read Body Language Easily
  • How to Defend Yourself From Deceptions Successfully
  • To Become Autonomous through Easy Steps to Take Control of Your Life

Manipulation and Dark Psychology provides practical actions that can create real and lasting change to help you intercept these manipulations. And how to use them to your advantage!

Even if you’ve never been able to defend yourself from manipulative behavior, this book will be teaching the techniques you need in your toolbox to fight all parts of dark psychology.

Voice actor is nails on a chalk board

I honestly was so distracted by the reader who literally paused after ...every...single...word with no inflection or flow. I really wanted to listen to this content, but I can't get past the reading. I even set my player to read at almost twice the speed and it was still too stilted and hard to listen too. How can I get my money back?

Horrible Narration!

Extremely choppy & robot-like narration! The narrator practically takes a breath between every word and it makes following the book difficult and uncomfortable to listen to.

Scam

The book is read at an unreasonably low speed. I had to listen at it at 1.5x speed.
Then there are about twenty 30 second pauses in the book. Very badly recorded just to make it seem longer and more valuable.
Contents are ok, not worth the price. You are paying for 3h content, you are actually getting about half of that, and it’s clearly malevolently done.

Horrible narration

Wow. I am floored that there is no mention in others’ reviews of the terrible narration. I cannot emphasize how bad it is. It was distracting. And what was with the occasional 30 second breaks. I thought for sure I was going to be brainwashed into giving a positive review. The book was ok - started off ok then turned into a self help book. I’m sure I would have gotten more out of it if the narrator hadn’t been so atrocious. Save the credit. I’m now looking for another book on the same subject.

Illiterate Narrator

I'm going to take a stab and say the narrator is illiterate. The way he reads 2 or 3 words and then takes a break coupled with the way he pronounces a few of the more intellectual words certainly indicates illiteracy.

Either that or he learned to read from William Shatner.

I have it on 1.55x speed and it's still agony to listen.

Terrible Reader.

The information is great, but the reader. Ugh, I've never listened to a book that has 30 second breaks throughout the book. It is annoying. I have to return this book. Good Luck To The Next Buyer.

Dark Psychology, which is an art and science of manipulation and mind control, has grown to become one of the most dominant forces used by many powerful influences in the world today. It is the world has ever known.

Couldn’t get past 1st Chapter

I’m really disappointed as this looked like such a good book! The narrator is awful he pauses for over a second between each word & reads like words are alien to him! Add to that a dull monotone drone & I got 40secs into the book before deleting it from my device
Sorry Jonathan Mind, I’m sure your book was wonderful but I just couldn’t

Audio book slowed down

the content of this book is pretty good but do not pay full price for the audio book. the narrator purposefully talks slow and there are random 30 second breaks in the content. I assume this is to lengthen the audio book so they can charge more for the book.

Couldn't get past the first chapter.

It's read so slowly, I can't continue to listen to it. It also uses "evil" as a way of explaining dark psychological traits or disorders. I was hoping for a book that explained these conditions and their psychology rather than labelling them as "the devil".

Horrible narration

I really couldn’t stand the narrator, he’d put emphasis on every word with long pauses in between for no apparent reason.
The information itself wasn’t really anything new, but very hard to focus on due to the terrible narration, I’m sure there’s better books on the topic.

30 Second Break Is A Good Idea

The information was informative and I liked the 30 sec break to let you think about the information that you have to understand but the narrator was like nails on a chalkboard.

Awful, creepy audio.

Some of the info was good, some was a little generalised and just an opinion rather than fact but the audio was so weird and distracting that my attention was on that more than the content! Really slow reading so I had to speed it up but at random intervals, the narrator would get super close to the mic, lower his voice and say and now for a 30 second break. These breaks varied in length from 5 seconds to 30 and made no sense. They were weird for an audiobook which can be paused at any time should the listener feel the need for a break. It’s not like we would be feeling stressed out and needing a breather!

The audio quality dropped very suddenly quite early on and stayed bad for the rest of the book. The bad audio and creepy narration made it really difficult to concentrate. I found myself thinking about the narrator, wondering if the creepy voice change at certain points was intentional to make the content sound more sinister or if the guy just had a strange vibe on how the book should be read. I should have been taking in what the book was saying but it was too distracting. Shame.

1.5 speed is best

I enjoyed this book. Really helped me understand narcissistic behaviours more and how to deal and overcome the ones aimed at me and their gaslighting ways. Worth a listen. The narrator has an awful voice but I put the speed up to 1.5x which made it so easy to listen to.

A serious topic, narrated seriously.

I don't know about anyone else, but if you ever needed a voice to ensure information sunk in.. this is it!!

The information in this book is absolutely invaluable and a must read. Or, a must listen.

Terrible Listening to this narrator

Content was satisfactory, however the narrator was beyond painful! Sounded like he thought of it as a chore.
