Great Feel Good Book - Fresh Plot

I like the fresh plot. Though the romance formula is in tact, Bybee offers and interesting plot in this second of a series. Also, she does a good job laying the groundwork for follow-ons. This novel is self contained, as was Book 1. This series creates a universe and a set of woman within the universe. After listening to two, it is clear where she is going but I think the plot lines will have enough variety to keep one interested.

As a critique I would liked to have amped up the conflict. I also would have liked to see a little more depth from Eliza -- all in all, a nice listen. Pull up a chair near the fire, surf the web on you iPad and listen away. Eby does a good job narrating. I give it a thumbs up.

Good sequal

I like book 1 better. They seem to fall in love way to easily. This should have been better, because we meet both characters in book one. There should have been more of a back-story I think from book one to seem believable of these characters falling in love so fast.

I did love the female leads history though... Crazy family life, she was in the witness protection... that was awesome.. but lead male was just crazy about her.. way too soon.

Credit not a buy. Eby did a great job narrating.

Very Entertaining Story and Characters

Married by Monday: Weekday Brides, Book 2 is a very entertaining romance with enjoyable characters, most of whom we met in Book 1. My only disappointment is that audible does not have book 3 in their store.

Book 1 and 2 are the only Catherine Bybee books that I have ever had the pleasure of listening. Her characters are endearing, and the story is lighthearted, while also engaging. If you are in the mood for a fun read, this novel will provide.

Definitely credit worthy!

Really enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed this book. The hero, Carter aka Hollywood was handsome, smart and sexy. The heroine Eliza was strong and witty.

I really like the story line and her secret, (don't want to spoil anything so I won't tell the secret). There was fantastic dialogue throughout, sexual tension, great chemistry, nicely written sex scenes and the whole story flowed very nicely.

An easy to follow enjoyable read/listen. I really like this author's writing style. And her books are not rated G and not rated XX.

As for the narrator, she did a really great job and I like listening to her. The men sounded like men and all the characters had their own distinct voice so you knew who was speaking.

Another Great in the Series!

What did you love best about Married by Monday?

Loved how this one continues the story of Sam and Blake along with the blooming relationship of Eliza and Carter. Can't wait to read more to see what happens next.

Easy Listen for a Rainy Day

This book will suit you just fine if you're looking for something easy that doesn't require a lot of your attention. I liked Book 1 of this series a bit better since the story and characters were better developed, whereas with this book, I found things to be good enough for what I was looking for.

My major complaints are that nothing really stood out for this book. There was good potential with the main characters, and even some of the minor characters, but it didn't get fleshed out properly to get a higher rating from me. Also, I wasn't convinced of Eliza's reasons to "go public" given the risks of doing so, which set in motion everything for this book's story and her romance with Carter.

I recommend this to fans of the author or people looking for an easy romance to pass the time.

I don't know what happened..

Any additional comments?

I bought this book in August of 2012 then yesterday I was looking at Catherine Bybee's books and opened this and it showed no evidence that I already owned it so I bought it. As soon as I started reading it it sounded so familiar. Needless to say, I did own it and Amazon let me buy it again on January 12, 2014. I loved this book. Loved the story and Carter and Eliza. Loved seeing Sam, Blake, Gwen, Neil, etc, but I don't understand why I was allowed to buy it twice. Why didn't that page come up and tell me I already owned it. I don't get it.

I didn't see that coming

I though the book was going to be light romance novel as the first one but the twist and suspense kept me on the edge until the end. I like the twist of the story line compare to the first book. The narrator did well and it was definitely worth the credit.
