Publisher's Summary

He had promises to keep.

“Protect her.”

Those two words echoed through my head at least a hundred times a day. I would keep the promises I made and protect Allegra from every possible danger that could come her way. Even if the biggest danger was her own father.

Love This Book!

This book was so good! I liked it much more than Victoria's story. Allegra's mother was sweet one minute and a b!tch with a capital B the next minute. I don't know if she is vindictive or just plain crazy from all the beatings she endured from Allegra's father. The book has misunderstandings but Dante should have come clean with Allegra years ago so her mother's little set up would not have worked. We find out later about her mother's issues. Very nice epilogue. Buy this book and you will NOT be disappointed. The narrators were great!

Narration bombed, but series worth sticking with

Narration bombed voices and accents but a lot happened in this book. If you've started this series, just focus on knowing that very surprising things are going to happen and the series is worth it.

Enjoyable! Within my top 3 in this series

for someone so sheltered and battered, Allegra was a strong and determined woman. I loved her. She is my type of heroine and I'm glad that she her hero got their HEA. Her mother on the other hand, is a different story. I liked the way she handled betrayal and loss. Cant wait for Anya's book! I enjoy the cross overs from the previous series!

Surprising twists added to this romance

I have read and/or listened to almost everything written by Terri Anne Browning. I thought I knew how the story was going to go, but I kept getting surprised by unexpected twists. The romance was sweet, bittersweet and ended in a HEA that left me smiling.

The narration was well done by all three narrators. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful story

So much action packed in this book. Twists and turns, alliances and enemies. Spectacularly woven story with Angel’s Halo MC.

Great!

Terri doesn't disappoint. Another great storyline in the Vitucci universe. The only complaint I had was with the male voice actor. He didn't use an accent for Allegra when the woman voice actor did all the accents.
