Just a recap of older marvel movies

Was not expecting this book just to be a recap of iron man 3 , Ragnarok, GotG vol 2 and a few other stories. What a joke... you already are selling those books. Come on Disney

I liked it.

Explained a lot that I didn't know about the characters. I felt the long ship numbers was a bit much but I liked it.

Great overview of the events leading up to “Infinity War”

This is a surprisingly well-written and engaging summary of the events leading up to the "Infinity War" movie, told from the perspectives of various characters including Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Dr Strange, and Nebula. These are not new stories, but rather the events covered in several of the “Avengers” movies over the last ten years. It proved to be a very useful review of the characters’ backstories.

The narrator did a good job with reading the story, and with Tony Stark’s and Dr. Strange’s voices in particular, making them similar to the way they sound in the movies without outright imitating them. He was less successful with Nebula’s and Gamora’s, the female characters, who play a big part in the second half of the book. He often just pitched his voice up, making them sound weak and shrill, something neither of these two warriors are. It got grating fast.

Overall, however, this is an enjoyable way to spend a few hours. Especially if you, like me, realized you needed a refresher course on some of these characters’ stories after “Infinity War”! #Avengers #InfinityWar #TorturedHero #UnlikelyHero #FemaleProtagonist #tagsgiving #sweepstakes

25% new, 75% rehash

I was hoping to find out what the avengers were up to between Civil War and Infinity War. And while that was covered, it was covered in brief snippits while the vast majority of the book was a word for word and scene by scene rehash of all of the other movies going back to Iron man. Such a wasted opportunity and (what felt like) incredibly lazy writing. If I hadn't seen those movies, I wouldn't have purchased this audible book! I found myself wishing there was a YouTube style timestamp so I could skip to the new content. But, if you are an absolute completionist and want to experience the movies again, you might enjoy this.

Very little new material

As others have said, this is essentially just a recap of the MCU leading up to Infinity War. If you’re up to date on the Marvel movies, this is one to skip.

Not Infinity Wars.

Thought I was getting a novelization of Infinity Wars. This is just a poor recap of the other Marvel movies. I'd return it if I could.
