Publisher's Summary

Everything can’t be about school....

The third-year students are about to take on those who know them best.

Each other.

Using a variation of the classic game of Capture the Flag, Kaiden and his friends must join teams and battle each other.

It is time for Kaiden to learn what it means to lead.

Then, when they are out on the town, an opportunity is handed to the students on a silver platter.

Kaiden has a job offer to help protect a business in San Diego, but he needs more members. Will the students join him?

If they do join him, will they survive? Few of the other students have taken on outside jobs like Kaiden has.

Further, will the teachers find out about it?

You don't become the best of the best by staying alive. In the Animus, you are closer to perfection with each death you suffer.

Kaiden Jericho would rather skip the death part, thank you very much.

Includes special note from co-author Michael Anderle.

good book.. not worth 20 dollars.

it's wat too short for 20 dollars, but oh well I'm hooked. I'd advising putting a few books together in a publisher's pack

Disappointed

The last couple of books have been a disappointment. The story felt forced and irrelevant to the beginning I enjoyed so much. I find the authors series hit or miss....enjoyed the main Kurtherian stories but don't care for the spinoffs. This entire series is somewhat hit or miss too. Hopefully it gets fun again. Sonny Gin was just boring.

Can't keep characters straight

at the beginning of the book they are already dropping the ball. Julius says he's never worked with an Agent before, then Otto (An agent and his teammate according to chapter 20 of deathmatch) explains what an agent is....
multiple plot holes in the last three books so I'm annoyed they couldn't make it 5 chapters before messing up.

I'm optimistic it'll be a better book than any of the last three but if these issues keep increasing...

Kept waiting for more

I've enjoyed this series but as it goes on, I'm feeling a little ripped off. The stories keep getting shorter and a little too cryptic. Too short for the credit.

A great continuation of the series

I’ve truly enjoyed the series to date. The way the back stories at the end of the last two books has been great and bringing a greater understanding of some of the characters that we’ve grown to love or hate. I can’t wait to dig in to the other books and get caught up! A great read or listen.

Love it but getting short for the price.

I love this series but the books seem to be getting shorter plus some of the time is fluffed with an origin story. Not that the origins are bad but it feels like I'm getting shorted on the main story. I'm up to infiltrator but I think I'm done til there's a sale or a compilation.

Finally real life team up!

I love all the books in the Animus Series. And finally seeing most of them team up for a merc mission was awesomesauce. My only nag is that the entire book takes place in less than a 48 hour period.

awesome book

As usual, I couldn't wait to listen to the book. Scott does a great job with the characters. I am looking forward to the next book(s) and seeing what happens to the gang. I think Chief is one of my favorite characters.
