Great story and narration

Gomez Pugh and Emma Wilder did a great job bringing this short story to life for me. Gomez is a new narrator to me and although this was the first book that I have listened to from him, it will not be my last. They did a good job in expressing the push and pull of Iskander and Siobhan’s relationship and the chemistry that sizzles between them .

Although a short listen, it has certainly wet my appetite for the latest series from Claudia Burgoa. I cannot wait to dive into the quirky characters that make up Luna Harbor. Siobhan is managing the Wicked Luna Brewery but she is run off her feet. When she has a one night fling with a stranger she is shocked to learn the next day that he is the grandson of one of the owners and is now her new boss.

This was a fun, steamy listen with characters whose story you cannot help but quickly become invested in. The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them separately and together.

Looking forward to what is to come in this exciting new series.

Sex without a story line

This is a DNF for me. I've been listening for 50 minutes and so far nothing has happened except lots of descriptions of these two people who don't even know each other having lots of sex in every broom closet and where ever! Just WAY too boring. I want a good story, not just sex.

Maybe It's You

A quick, fun read that starts off the Luna Harbor series.

Sibohan works for Mr. Cantú in Luna Harbor. When he falls ill he calls in his oldest grandson Iskander to help. The two of them have great chemistry and it isn't long before their connection turns into something more than either expected.

As this is a novella the relationship and character development are fast paced, but the story itself doesn't feel rushed or incomplete. I had already read a couple of the other books in the series before this one, but am glad I went back to read Sibohan and Iskander's story.

quick attraction

Siobhan is getting over a broken engagement and managing two businesses in Luna Harbor. One of her bosses is sick and his grandchildren are called in to help out. She meets Iskander before she knows who he is. They have instant chemistry.
I liked how she threw caution to the wind and went with her feelings and went for what she wanted.

Small-town novella! ❤️

The narrators chosen for this audiobook was absolutely perfect for the characters. I really felt Iskander in Gomez Pugh’s performance and Emma Wilder was a great Siobhan. This romance is everything you love about small town reads. The people, the charm and even the gossip. Such a great audio.

Loved this sizzling romcom prequel!

I loved this introduction to the intriguing characters, who I can't wait to meet, in Burgoa's new Luna Harbor series. This forbidden, work place romance is between Iskander and Siobhan. Iskander is back in town to help his grandfather while he is ill, but can't wait to get back to his life. Siobhan moved to Luna Harbor two years ago to have a simpler life, and is managing the Wicked Luna Brewery. They have a random meeting and have instant chemistry. They agree to a night of clandestine passion with no strings and no names. But neither can forget the fiery connection they felt, and both want more with each other. Imagine their dilemma when they later learn that Iskander will be Siobhan's new boss!
Gomez Pugh, and Emma Wilder did an amazing job bringing this heartwarming and sizzling story to life, immersing me in their world, and making this a captivating listen.
This steamy romcom was so much fun, I can't wait to find out more about Iskander and Siobhan, and the rest of the snarky, sassy, and sexy residents of Luna Harbor. This small taste of Burgoa's new series only makes me hunger for more!

Intense for both

Iskander finds a special woman who turns out to be his employee. This novella has panty melting scenes.

The narrators brought life to the characters. I enjoy the dual male-female voicing in books.

Short and Steamy!

While this is not a full novel, it gives the right amount of steam, sweetness and connection that I needed. It’s a great start to a new series in a place that I’ve been wondering about since it’s been mentioned in other stories. I feel like we will see more of them and more of their story in later books as we don't get a lot of information on Iskander and Siobhan. Their pasts are glossed over quickly and it's really just a short, quick, steamy read.

I liked the audio a little better as the narrators do a great job of bringing the story and characters to life and that made me like it more. They did a great job!
