I wrote this mnemonic guide as an audiobook first to help you remember pharmacology drug names and principles quickly. While in the classroom your professors might say memorization doesn't matter, but you can't bring outside material to the board exam, so for this test, you do need to work on memory training. You already know the consequences of failing a class or board exam, so let's make sure that doesn't happen by getting pharmacology organized in your head once and for all.

Publisher's Summary
If you want to boost your understanding of medicine and pharmacology, listen here!
Are you a medical student who’s struggling with complicated terminology?
Do you need help with pharmacology, the study of drugs?
Or are you just an enthusiast who wants to understand medical texts like a pro?
This two-audiobook bundle is exactly what you need!
If you’re sitting over a medical textbook until you get obdormition in your legs and borborygmi in your stomach…but still can’t understand every term, you’re not alone. Medical terminology is almost like a language of its own, a strange mixture of Latin, Greek, and a bunch of other languages (for example, the medical term for hangover actually comes from a Norwegian root…. Who’d know?)
However, you don’t have to suffer! There’s an underlying system behind those terrifying words, and this amazing audiobook by Dexter Lendsteiner explains it in great detail. Once you’ve understood this system, medical jargon will become as easy as everyday English!
However, there’s one science that’s very challenging even if you’re exceptionally good at terminology. It’s pharmacology, or the study of drugs and their effects on the body. It’s very complex and requires a deep understanding of biology and chemistry, and sometimes your medical textbook just doesn’t explain everything.
The second audiobook in this unique bundle will help you master the fundamentals of pharmacology and lay a solid foundation for more advanced knowledge.
Here’s what you’ll learn from these audiobooks:
- How medical terms are created
- The meanings of all the prefixes, roots, and suffixes that make up medical terms
- Expert-approved memorization strategies for complex medical terminology
- Everything you need to know about drugs and their effects on the human body
- And much more!
Don’t hesitate to enjoy these audiobooks even if you’re not a medical student! Medical knowledge is very empowering. You’ll have better conversations with your doctor and have a deeper understanding of your treatment options when you’re sick.
Mastery of medical terminology and pharmacology is just a click away.

Helping to help themselves is just good audiobook
I had purchased this as a quick reference guide for current and upcoming classes, and for my job as a medical admin asst. I love that they are laminated, and have helped me so far both in and out of the classroom, and work.I got out of it what I put in it and I couldn't be happier. Donated the audiobook to the next class to take an exam to help pay it forward, requesting the instructor be the "librarian" lending it out. Helping others to help themselves is just good stuff.
