Bad Narrated person

Peter Prova is not a good narrated person. His voice is one tone and is annoying to listen for long period of time. His voice does not have any interest and sound dead. The book is probably good but his voice makes it bad.

Truly from my heart i recommend!

Practical and straight to the point. This book is about improving memory but I feel it's much deeper. Many thing in this book can be applied to other areas of your life. Great book. And also, it has no fluff. It's straight to the point and practical. Glad to have this on my shelf and will be a book I plan to reread many more times.

Very Solid.

This book was an excellent investment . What's more astonishing is I tried the car method out on my 5yr old at the supermarket, after going over the list once, she was able to tell me the list, by item, at will even the day after. Even better she had a blast learning it.

Excellent!

As my life gets busier every year and I get a little older every year remembering is a huge challenge. This book is amazing. It has common sense principals clearly laid out and easy to understand. And they WORK. I will be following this guidance for the rest of my life.

Finished quickly!

Finished quickly one afternoon. And definitely helpful as I gear up for my board review, am slightly brain dead/cannot remember my own name so I'm digging up lots of resources on memory and information retention/ speed reading. So now I'm totally like

Awesome!

This book describes amazingly simple methods to improve mental agility through focusing on memory. The methods are easy to absorb and each section has short exercises that enable you to immediately practice what you've just learnt and experience the power of the method for yourself.

I have just finished the book.

The technique for remembering names alone makes the book worth reading. In the process of listening the book,I attended a wedding abroad. I was able to remember almost every single name of the person I met on the trip and at the wedding (with more practice,I'm sure I'd get every one). I'm already noticing improvements in my day to day memory solely as a function of practicing the day to day techniques. I wish I would have picked this book up sooner!

Simple system of memorizing

As with anything else, use what you need from this book ad leave the rest. Some of the memory tips are very helpful. Compartmentalizing was something I had done when studying for a job I had years ago. But, now seeng it here confirmed what I had done was correct. And added more ideas to the system I already used.

Everyone complaining is a whiner.

Yes he patronizes you a little bit. So what. He knows what he's talking about and is right. Half of learning any skill (such as memory) IS self-discipline. My opinion is if reading a book gets you one good tip from it, it's worth your time. I got more than one. Hence 5 stars.

This is a great book.

It was easy to read and the techniques he teaches really work. If you follow what he says you really will improve your memory and you'll have fun doing it. I'm thankful I came across the book and I've read a few other memory books but this is the best I've listen so far.
