An Absolutely Captivating Work

This is as adjacent to amend as a brief introduction to the history of Mexico could be, and hopefully, the more onerous and interested listeners will follow up with a more in-depth study such as Meyer's Course of Mexican History, or the Oxford History of Mexico.

Story was great but every Mex name was butchered

Great summary of Mexico’s history and easy to consume. But I wish the narrator had experience or practice saying outloud spanish words and names. Outside of that, good book.

Meh.

Very Eurocentric view of Mexican history. Every Spanish word or name is Butchered. The indigenous words even worse

Interesting survey of Mexico

This is a praiseworthy audiobook of such a confusing history. The kids and I took satisfaction in listening to more about our historical literature. we would recommend this notable historical audiobook.

Learned Something New!

Anything that was drafted by Captivating History I highly recommend and follow. History is considerably examined and the content, no indifference with hours of fluff.

Anyone interested in the history of revolutions will be fastened by the observational evidence of these details combined with the description.
Outstanding historical work and the details lead to the wonderful narrative. This work was referenced to me as Mexican history.

Follow it to gathering a knowledge of Mexico

A history of the violent nature of Mexico when the country joined the U.S as an Allie in WW2. Details are a prized contribution. Five presidents were slaughtered. Two drowned in office. It is astounding that the country held together, nice work Jason Zenobia.

Excellent audiobook!!!

I love how the audiobook is addressed, a great idea that the Mexican people who made history tell us how they did it, also the instance is excellent, without a doubt I can follow other books by the same author.

Beautiful audiobook

It seems that I did not adore this audible as much as others, but I still believe that it is an audible worth listening to.

I had never heard of many of these women, and I learned a lot. It was interesting and inspiring.

But ... I didn't like the style so much, as if each person spoke directly to the listener, inviting you to come in, to sit down. That would be interesting for two or three stories, but after many stories in a similar style, it started to be repetitive and unnatural. Also, most of the voices sounded very similar. I couldn't forget that I was listening to an audiobook, and I think the best audibles take you to the middle of the story and make you forget that you are listening.

Also, this is difficult to explain, especially in a language that is not my native language, but ... audibles like this one, that talk a lot about how women are important and women are smart and women can do what men can do ... sometimes these audiobooks have the opposite effect of the goal. Of course, women are important and clever and capable. Focusing on this so much, as if it were new information, sometimes it seems like a step backward. But, maybe I'm too sensitive. I think an audiobook like this would be more powerful if it focused more on the interesting details of their extraordinary lives, giving us unforgettable stories. We would understand the subtle message that women are important and clever and capable without the sermon. But ... that's just my opinion.

It is interesting, with many important and admirable figures. I recommend that you read slowly, one story at a time. Maybe the problems I mentioned would go away.

Excellent Summary

Well recorded, accurate, and scanty - nearly too concise. All the people who made up the history spread composed of were very well planned and their assistance given their due value.

Interesting Content to listen.

What a protracted attempt the 'revolution' was: with a fairly rapid sequence of conflicts and administrators.
Obviously, all driven by excessive male egos, and a soupçon of belief. Hourly History wraps it all up into a neat audible.
