Publisher's Summary

From a middle-class employee nobody knows, to the star of your own show: Make the transformation in just four simple steps...

How long have you been working a job that doesn’t bring you joy and satisfaction? Let’s rephrase that question: how long have you been working on someone else’s dream while wasting away your health and your full potential?

In the beginning of our professional careers, most of us would take on just about any job. In time, however, it becomes clear this isn’t the way to earn a living and make the most of life.

In Middle-Class Employee Wanting More? Rise at 5 am to Change Your Life, you will discover:

  • How to work smarter and employ your brain’s full capacity to finally fulfill your long-term dreams
  • A no-nonsense approach to determining your life purpose realistically
  • The importance of going on a personal enlightenment journey and having fun along the way
  • Why visualizing your goals into the real world is critical to their achievement
  • Four reasons why starting your transformation in your 30s or even earlier is the way to go, as well as a couple of ways you can free yourself even later-on in life
  • And much more….

The saying, you are the master of your own destiny, sounds like such a massive cliché, but it actually rings true.

If you’re still stuck in a job that you hate, or it’s not as fulfilling and rewarding any longer, you are wasting your talent and getting further away from your life’s purpose by the day.

Just because society has made you believe you should act and live a certain way doesn’t mean you need to be a follower. Once you break free, you’ll discover just how much you’ve been missing and just how wide the range of alternatives is.

Stop being somebody else’s pawn and begin pursuing your life’s dream right now. This is your once in a lifetime chance to be transformed, simply by listening to this audiobook.

What a powerful book!

Putting these techniques into play has really helped change my mindset and perspective. I can't tell you what a difference between waking up earlier and hearing this author's story and the book has helped. I appreciate that Russel touches on affirmations and how affirmations can have a huge impact on our brain and what this means for our lives. I really enjoyed listening to this one.

Alot to achieve one’s goals faster.

The book gives a helpful tip to address issues we have to deal with in our daily lifes. The methods covered in this book don't need significant efforts to earn a decent living and accomplish the dream. I recommended this book to anyone who is stuck with a job and wants to achieve more for oneself through improving mindset and productivity.

To get out of the 9-5, get up at 5 am

We all want and deserve more from our life and work, but not everyone can burn their ship and dive deep into the self-made entrepreneur life. So what can we do if we want to escape the 9-5, but feel we have no time or energy to work after the day job, or if family demands your after-work hours? We wake up at 5 am, or, at the very least, a few hours before our usual day begins. Why? Because that is the only way to put in the necessary hours on your side-gig without interruption. It is challenging, but you are not on your own. Russel's candid account of his own struggles and successes is inspiring and his insight and teachings help you not only rise early but also rise above self-doubt. It's a short but information-packed listen.

Awesome book

This book is perfect for the standard 9-5 knowledge worker. I feel like this book deeply resonated with me on many levels. If you are struggling to get more out of life then this book has everything you will need as a middle class employee. I had to listen to this book 3 times because once was just not enough. There are too many knowledge bombs that I found myself taking nonstop notes. Check out this book, you won't regret it!

C Bryan

Little things we neglect that can have a major impact on our lives. Like getting enough hours of sleep and waking up early. Also stresses on the significance of having healthy routines. It’s amazing how one’s health can be impacted by lack of adequate sleep/inability to rise up early. I like how the narrator backs up everything with science, provides listens with real life scenarios and how to combat them.

I love this book. It's a must listen.

I enjoyed the overall presentation of the audiobook. I love the concept of how getting up at 5am can not only allow me to change my life, but it can make life so much easier. It also talks about how to live the best version of you by developing exercise, visualizations and affirmations to your morning routine and so much more. I especially love the research behind it and the pdf of the book that comes along with the audiobook. It was easy to read and it was easy to follow along while listening to audio recording. This is the book for anybody that what's to change their life for the better (especially for a middle-class employee).

Change your Life!

This audiobook was super helpful as it helped me realize what I want in life. I liked the personal story of the author. It really resonated with me as I want to have more control over my life, and I know I'm capable of more. Jacobs does a great job explaining how to start a life transformation, for example through visualization or rising at 5am in the morning. This is only the beginning, and I know I'll live to my full potential thanks to the advice in this audiobook. It's a marathon, but we need to start now!

Not only does it teach you the necessary tools to make changes, but it also gets you to question your purpose and helps you visualize your goals. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for inspiration to make some serious positive changes in their life.

This book is an eye opener

This book simply explains how the middle class has been hit hard by job losses and increasingly costly benefits. On the other hand it says how middle-income workers have to figure out how to save for retirement. It’s amazing how the author teaches how to work smarter and employ our brains’ full capacity to fulfill our long-term dreams . It’s clear that a lot of research and time has gone in to writing this book and including real life scenarios helped me to relate so well. Definitely recommend.

This is what I needed

New year, new me! I picked up a bunch of books to try and learn how I can absolutely excel this year! This book was my favorite so far. The information here is gold. Seriously.

Something that really stuck with me was the quote "No is a complete sentence."

Like yeah, it is. I don't need to tell anyone why I said no. I don't owe them anything. So much of my time is taken up by other people's goals. This year, I'm going to focus on mine... and it's all thanks to this book. Thank you Russel Jacobs. Here's to you!
