Publisher's Summary

Lucas Blackthorne ruined me. Because of him I lost my pack. My heart. My soul.

He was the bastard prince of the Blackthorne vampires, and I fell for his charms. It’s a mistake I won’t make again. He’s wicked and dangerous, but I have plans for revenge.

Lucas might be estranged from the royal family, but that doesn’t mean he’s not useful. I’ll turn him against his brother and bring down the vampires once and for all. Just like he tried to do with me, once upon a time.

He stole my heart once before. He can’t take it again. But it'll be fun to let him try.

loved it!!

I absolutely loved the duet narration. It brings the book to life in a far better way. loved how they brought cash in. Loved his voice in his books. The story was great. The storyline keeps going from book to book. Loved the cliffhanger into the next book while completing Lucas's story. Overall I had hoped for more hope for them and the mark situation. I had looked forward to Lucas finding his mate after his kind joking heart was revealed in the first book. I wasn't disappointed.

Great Conclusion

Midnight Prince and Midnight Hunger was my first venture into the PNR genre and I'm happy I chose this duet as the story was great with fabulous narration! I loved the conclusion of Lucas and Briar's story as the chemistry from book 1 could still be felt in book 2. Briar definitely put Lucas through the wringer, deservedly so but you could still feel their love for one another. Once again Shane East and Stella Hunter did a fantastic job narrating this story. Aaron Shedlock makes an appearance as Cashel. Though I haven't read Cashel's story yet, I don't feel you miss out by not knowing his backstory.

Amazing book!

I read the ebook and was absolutely blown away by it. This book was so damn good! My heart was in my throat all the way through to the end. Oh my God, the end! So many great lines in this book that were funny and lots of sexy lines as well. I loved Briar's snark and how strong and tough she is. Definitely not a damsel in distress, which I love! Lucas has so much love for her and he never gives up. You can really see that in lines like this, "Don't deny me your eyes after so long without them." Or "This woman, this fierce and deadly creature, was the one thing my body craved more than anything else." Or even "Anything you want. You only have to ask it of me." Aside from how sexy this book is there's also lots of snark and humor in the dialog with the characters.
I also had the surprise opportunity to listen to an early copy of the audiobook. If I thought the ebook was fantastic, it had nothing on the audiobook. The performance of the narrators was absolute perfection! Stella, Shane and Aaron completely became Briar, Lucas and Cashel. I loved that Aaron reprised his role of Cashel from prior books too. This was made even better by being recorded in duet style which was perfect for this book. I just loved the way they all played off of each other.
I highly recommend the book and when it comes out I definitely recommend the audiobook version too!

Epic Conclusion to a forbidden love!

I was lucky to win an ALC for this audiobook and K. Loraine didn't disappoint. I have to be honest, I was not into Vampire, Shifters, witches' kind of stories, but after reading Midnight Prince, I found a new favorite genre. This book has so many great things, that I don't know where to start:
1. The Plot:
Book 1 left us with the surprising news that Briar was alive. My heart ached with Lucas trying to find Briar and win her love back. The story had me on edge with so many twists and turns that I couldn't put the book (audio) down. I was rooting for Lucas and Briar and craving each scene where they were together.
2. The Narrators:
K. Loraine couldn't pick up better narrators. SHANE EAST.... (insert daydreaming emoji here) portrayed Lucas to perfection. The raw pain, the feelings. God!!!! I don't care that he is half a vampire, I fell in love with him too. Stella Hunter did a stellar (pun intended) job as Briar. The strong shifter/woman, the alpha female, the hunter, the woman torn by an alleged betrayal. She is Briar. Having Aaron Shedlock was certainly a great addition to the narration. His raspy voice was the perfect complement to Shane and Stella's narrations.
3. The Duet Narration Format:
I love stories written with both main characters' POV, K. Loraine picked up the perfect format for this audiobook. I LOVE LOVE Duet Narration. It is like listening to the back and forth between the characters, but watching the story happening vividly in my head. Duet Narration is the bomb.
Whether you like Vampire stories or not, you need to start this series for so many reasons. However, I have a warning, this series is addicting. I am now like a blood-thirsty reader looking for more stories from the Blackthorne family. ;)

Midnight Hunger

I fell in love with Lucas and Briar in Midnight Prince, my first introduction into the Blackthorne world. While waiting for Midnight Hunger, I went back and read the Blackthonre Vampires from the beginning. It’s a terrific series! .Knowing that Shane East was narrating Midnight Hunger made the wait really hard! But so worth it, I loved hearing Shane bring Lucas to life! Stella Hunter was fabulous as Briar and I really enjoyed Aaron Shedlock as Cashel. I’m going to have to go back and listen to all of the audiobooks now!

Great listen

I was very excited to listen to book #2 of the Blackthorne Bloodlines series book.
We pick up as the book 1 left off.

Lucas and Briar's story is very compelling. Shane East and Stella Hunters narration brought these characters to life in my ears.

Their story is full of so much, mystery, intrigue, betrayal, love, steam, bonds, vampires, hybrids, shifters. It's a great world that author K. Loraine has built and her characters will all suck you in and make you love them.

Also a big shout out to Aaron Shedlock who voice Cashel and added extra depth to this already great story

Loved this story!

First time listening to a K. Loraine book and wow so glad I did! This book hooked me from the beginning, especially since the first book ended on a cliffhanger. I couldn’t believe all the twist and turns this story took! I did feel like I was missing out on Cashel and Olivia’s story. I will definitely need to go and read their story.
The narrators were amazing! I loved that this was a duet narration, it really added to the story and brought it to life. Shane East and Stella Hunter did a phenomenal job! I absolutely loved it! This is definitely worth a listen!

Bloody Brilliant

I think I preferred this duet to Cash and Olivias story. Brilliant narration as always by Stella Hunter. She excels brining sassy characters to life and I loved Briar. I’d never listened to Shane East before but he was great brining Lucas to life.
The first of the duet is set mostly in the past and this one solely in the now. Briar has suffered horrendously for 100 years thinking Lucas abandoned her. Only he didn’t but can he prove his love and can Briar trust him again? 5/5

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Must Listen!!!

Ms. Loraine is beginning to be a “one-click” author for me. Paranormal is not my go to genre but the Blackthorne Vampires series captivated me from book 1. Lucas and Briar’s story is my favourite. The chemistry she brought to these two characters continue to enthrall me in this book. I could not put this book down. The riveting plot sucked me right back into the Blackthorne’s world immediately. All I have to say is, WOW!!! A perfect conclusion to their phenomenal story.

This is a must listen. Masterful performances from Stella Hunter, Shane East and Aaron Shedlock. The audiobook is worth all the wait and should not be missed.
