This is a great book; ignore the racist review

I periodically listen to self help; my 1st one was Ringer's Winning through Intimidation in 1989. He is full of humility to the point of self deprecation at times. Funny stuff with great lessons. Note the racist review; Mexico being a 3rd world country with flies and roaches in the hospital waiting room. Ringer went on to say the dr's were some of the most caring and attentive people he had ever encountered.

Wow!! The Real Deal.

Most books in this genre are dull, academic, and theoretical. This is none of those. Solid real world experience and real world advice.

Loved the book and the performance of the narrator had been astonishing.

Will look forward to more books by this author.

Garbage

White male privileged bs with racist undertones sprinkled with a poor understanding of science. I couldn't finish one whole chapter.

anti-government propaganda

This book is base in pure cliches. The author is obviously an anti government propagandist and a trumpist by heart. As soon as he started to make political remarks he lost credibility on my part. He obviously had bad experiences with the law and lawyers by the way he put them all down. He totally forget that lawyers got to school work hard just like you, your children and anybody that wanted to get ahead in America three traditional way. This book is a total waste and only a fool will believe the bunch of garbage this guy said.

This underrated gem is MUST-READ!

This is an extremely enlightening book. Firstly, it holds no punches - it's a tough-love type of book, equally comprised of brutal honesty and graceful consideration - both of which are considerably effective in delivering the message.

What I love most about this book is how applicable it is to the journey of achieving success in any aspect of life - not only finance. Even if you don't have ambitions of becoming a millionaire, Million Dollar Habits can still be of substantial value to you. This book doesn't hesitate to tell you what you need to hear and is an critical guide for anyone who wishes to live a more successful life, but is held back by his or her own negative habits.

Ringer's storytelling here is honest, relatable, thought-provoking, illuminating, appropriately humorous, and at times, heartwrenching. He takes the reader through an examination of principles using a series of fantastically relevant personal anectdotes.

The voice of the reader/narrator sounds a bit impersonal and generic but I found that to be surprisingly helpful in this case, given the nature and content of this book.

Million Dollar Habits is urgently needed for anyone trying to make a positively impactful difference in their life. I've read a fair share of success-themed self-help books and this one is by far the most helpful one I've read!

PaulM

This book stinks. Plain and simple. When the author went on and on and on about his poor decision and selfish decision to take his wife to some crap hole in Mexico while pregnant with their child and everything went bad I knew right then....why am I wasting my time listening to this boob! The book is boring and uninspiring. You can do much better reading great books like The One Thing. Don't waste your time with this garbage!!

Great book, read well and clearly sets everything out

This book is great, it clearly sets out the premise and what it will allow you to help yourself to achieve.

The book is written in a style which is easy to digest, and read in a way which is easy to listen to.

No habits found here.

I stopped after chapter 5. The personal stories are just so out of context that I forgot what book I was listening to. Some initial good advise but not interested in author's personal life events.

A gem of a book (Audio)

I decided to try this audio because of the genre and it was part of the free collection in the Audible subscription.

If you can get past the bone dry 'infomercial' style narration and appreciate the almost consistent tone of sarcasm that runs throughout, then what this book delivers is many powerful life lessons and some insights from a 'self made' millionaire.

Nothing revolutionary about this book but I found the refreshing honesty... if sometimes a little condescending.... really work and despite many books of this ilk there is enough here to keep coming back again and again.

If you can appreciate the sample, you'll love the book

Time waster

If time is money, find another book that gets to the point sooner. I've been listening since this morning and so far, it's just a bunch of random anecdotes but with no apparent point... I'm sure there are better books to listen to. Luckily I got this one for free.

Nothing New

All texts in this book are very similar to any motivational books that you see in the market. No difference. If you haven't read similar books then it may be worth reading this book otherwise, it's just no value for the people who have already read books on habits, minds money etc.

This book is not specific about habits rather its written generally on habits.
