This book will be very good for very informative

I really enjoyed this book. Mindfulness has become a huge goal of mine this past year because I deal with anxiety and have found that it helps calm my mind. This book was a great tool for obtaining mindfulness.

The book does an amazing

The book does an amazing job of making each chapter new and shifting the focus as your experience grows. There is quite a good deal of repetition and yet it never felt stale. Each week granted new insights from similar practices simply by providing opportunities to perceive yourself and the practice of mindfulness in a new light. High quality listens and I plan on listening many times for the nuggets of wisdom.

This book is really helping me.

This book is really helping me. I have anxiety that comes and goes and the meditations are already helping, even though I'm still on the first one. The writing really speaks to me, it explains exactly what I am thinking in my head.

This book is a blessing

I have been struggling with negative thoughts, worries, anxiety for months. It got really bad last week where I was scared it was turning into depression. I needed to help myself fast. This book is a blessing!! It's explaining everything perfectly, why I feel the way I do. And it brings me hope and determination to change things around!! You control your mind, not the other way around!!

I found this a great introduction to meditation. Very easy and accessible. Also, the CD is great and further meditation tracks I've tracked down by Jon Kabat-Zinn have been equally inspiring. Highly recommend.

I found this an excellent support

I found this excellent support in developing a mindfulness practice. The combination of meditations and description of principles, ethical foundations etc is particularly helpful and enriched my understanding and practice.

This book was perfect!

I have been doing short guided meditations in the headspace app for a few years. I enjoy them but wanted to know if there was more? This book was perfect! It discusses a meditation practice and also applying mindfulness throughout the day. The section on working with emotions was also very helpful. A great book that now has many highlights. I will listen again and suggest to anyone wondering if you are doing things "right" or if there is something you are missing. This book helped me with both of those!

Many useful ways to help beginners.

The author explains meditation and mindfulness in layman terms and shows many useful ways to help beginners to practice in the right way. Some may find it too basic, but it is the basic fundamentals that matter. Things mentioned by the author may sound simple yet it may take quite an amount of effort and persistence to fully practice in reality. Slowly listen to this book word by word while keep practicing every day to get the most benefit.
