Publisher's Summary

The regular shrewdness is that narcissists would prefer not to change. When I tell individuals that I work with various customers who have narcissistic personality disorder, they state, "Why? They aren't generally intrigued by psychotherapy".

In all actuality, while numerous narcissists are not prepared to do psychotherapy since they see it as too difficult to even think about taking a gander at themselves, a few people with narcissistic personality disorder really would like to change. I know this, in light of the fact that the more persuaded ones remain in treatment.

It is difficult for them to concede their blemishes, manage their basic disgrace, and do the difficult work important to make a more advantageous method for working. Their treatment isn't simple for me it is possible that: I here and there become the object of their anger.

At the point when they are not glorifying me or claiming to be more pleasant than they really are, they are depreciating me. I have needed to become acclimated to being hollered at when something I state or do "triggers" them. Be that as it may, when the treatment works, it is all justified, despite all the trouble.

The audio version is horrible

The reader is horrible with a robotic annoying voice. I am wondering if a real person is reading. it’s a great book so get the paper version.

Great book!

i enjoyed the ideas presented in this book, and the reader presented it well. I would recommend it to other people, but especially to those in education.

Great book but terrible reader

With all due respect her voice is not the best for this topics. The ideas are definitely extraordinary. I took the best for my relationship and I love the concept but it was very tedious kinda robotic going through the book.

Wow

What a book. I enjoyed how she simply explained the difference between the Fixed and Growth mindset using great example to illustrate her point. This is a must listen!

Awesome!

I read the original version a few years ago and thought I understood it but this updated version really helped me apply it so much better. There were definitely fixed things I was doing that I didn’t realize before. I’m so glad I listen this version! Definitely in my top three books of all time.

Superior primer on mindset

Fascinating work on the topic of mindset. The author gives an easy-to-follow analysis on what a fixed mindset is, as well as an open mindset.

The real book is a whole lot better

The analysis was nothing more than what Carol said herself and a lot of the importance of the whole message was lost in such a short piece.
