My new years resolution

My new years resolution is to start budgeting better so I bought a few books to aid me. I just finished listening this one. It's short but extremely insightful. The point about deciding what we value in life really is an important one that often gets over looked. There are lots of good tips on assessing every area of our lives. I really enjoyed this book and I highlighted some tips that I'm excited to implement.

This book is very well written

This book is very well written and the passion the author has for this subject shines through, which to me makes all the difference, as I feel he really cares about helping people.

I know I for one, hate to budget, as it makes me feel hemmed in and feel I am lacking, but I have to budget and in fact most of us do. The title of the book got me to buy it and I am so happy I did. Completely easy to understand, very informative and gives you everything you need to budget correctly.

Once I listen the book, I came to realize, I had been budgeting wrong.

This is a really great guide

This is a really great guide. It teaches you about all the little things that we don't really need. After listening this book I have found that we can still live comfortably while still cutting things out, and believe me, after listening this book you will realize there really is so much we can cut out and so many corners we can cut to save money. Lots of outside of the box ideas. It's a motivational listen. Since I have begun implementing what I have learned, my husband I, for the first time in Lord know how long, have actually been able to put some money away. So glad I found it, you will be too.

Encourages looking at your budget

Encourages looking at your budget from a totally different perspective. I really gained a lot from listening it. Thinking about what I'm spending my money on and why, not just how much can I cut.

Well beyond minimalist budgeting

This is a full-length book on minimalism and not the kind of specific budgeting technique I was looking for. For that reason it was too long for me.
Nontheless is a educational book about minimalism as a life philosophy and taught me a lot. Many of the lessons are really useful to stop some of our mindless spending habits.
At a point it sounds like preaching and is a bit too much. On a general note it was a good book.

2 x Peaches + er does make a preacher - Ahem

I wish it hadn't got the woke preaching in place.

I wanted tips NOT a philosophy or politics in life.

I just know that the profit from this book will no go to charity - Ah the irony in woke culture.

2 x Peaches + er does make a preacher - Ahem NOT Amen!!!!

Bottom line - "You sit with your arse not with your mouth"

I never really thought about my buying

I never really thought about my buying in terms of the time I was trading in in order to buy things I only thought about the money it would take. This book taught me to look at my acquisitions multi-dimensionally. It was a real eye opener.

So many people are short on cash

So many people are short on cash, but spending money like crazy while trying to figure out what's going wrong. The title of this book is spot on! Minimalist Budget was very practical for me and it felt good listening it knowing the aim wasn't to make feel bad about managing my money better. I've suggested it to several friends.

This book is not at all what I expected

This book is not at all what I expected, but a great listen no the less. Instead of telling you how to budget it gives you different ideas on how to cut back on day to day cost and bills. It's a most listen!
