Publisher's Summary

Minimalism is a lifestyle that promotes the idea that you can be happier with less. When everything has a purpose, you are able to feel more fulfilled in your daily life. The burden of clutter can stress you out, so minimalism teaches you how to get rid of what you no longer need while also teaching you how to keep your home clean and organized.

Through various minimalist techniques, you will learn how to take an assessment of what you already own, determining which items serve a purpose in your life. Thinking about what you truly need in your life to survive and what you want in order to be happy, you will then get rid of the items that are no longer useful.

This does not mean that you must throw everything that you own away, but simply re-purpose or re-home the items so that they will be used. When something does need to be thrown away, know that it has already served its purpose for you. There is no need to feel guilty when you have used the item to the best of your ability. Minimalism will help you master these traits so that they become habits.

You will be amazed to find out just how great living minimally can feel, allowing your home and your mind to be free of clutter and worry.

I want one

Still about halfway through the audiobook, but I already fell in love with it. What I want to do is pack my things and throw it away! (Not all of them of course! haha) I've realized that there are certain things that matter more in life: family, relationships, finances, time, and professional life. You don't need anything other than the ones above. I highly recommend this audiobook to you! Quite realistic ideas for maintaining a minimalist lifestyle. The health section did not jive with me as well as the rest of the book but was otherwise very supportive.

f you're young and new to minimalism, this is the audiobook that you need in your lifetime. I've often heard of minimalists as a bunch of crazies, but now I've recognized the value of living your life to the fullest without material attachment. You don't need to be materialistic or extremely wealthy to be happy; The thing that is actually important is for your heart and soul to be content with what you have. I started my journey as a minimalist after listening to this book, and I think everyone should do so. Overall, there are good principles for living a life with minimalism. Most of the items were pretty simple, but they're beneficial to beginners.

Five Stars

Practical tips on how to declutter. It won’t convince you to do it, but once you are convinced, it is a helpful book to get you started.

I really enjoyed this book.

I'm so pleased that there's an audiobook like this. Depression and anxiety made me a shopping addict, so I'd basically buy everything even if I didn't need them. This book helped me calm down, relax, and reflect on my life. I decided that instead of all the makeup and accessories, I needed therapy. I started giving worth to my life, trying to control myself from spending too much. Thank you very much, Nia!

The writer, Nia Asha, introduces you to the origins of minimalism and encourages you to challenge your purpose in life. She urges you to have a life goal rather than doing it by definition. This audiobook is full of ideas, approaches, and useful exercises that you can use in your daily life. I've got so many references about where I've been lost in my minimalist journey, and I feel inspired about continuing to push this endeavor.

I feel excited to keep on continuing my journey.

I loved the idea that the book presented; slowing down and celebrating the little pleasures of my life. As a father of two sons, I feel easily overwhelmed by their future. I've started to adapt in order to comply with my values. I am very grateful for the author's interesting and inspiring explanations and quotes. I definitely recommend this book to you. This discusses the in-depth and soul-searching response to what it really means to be a minimalist.

I’m impressed!

I was anticipating the author would just try to persuade me to get rid of my things, but I was surprised to actually see helpful hints, techniques, and suggestions to live a fulfilling life. First, I managed to learn that I just need to start by changing my mindset. I need to overcome my emotional connection with my belongings. This book doesn't stress the collector inside of you. instead, it slowly eases you into the minimalist life. Worth every dollar spent!

Gorgeous book.

After reading this book I realized that I've always been kind of a minimalist. Author shows clearly that we do not need all that clutter surrounding us to live a happy life. What I most like about in this audible book is that author does not prescribe what minimalism is, instead he indicates that lifes much easier without unecessary items (that may vary). I recommend reading this book either if you are on the journey to a more minimalistic life or if you a so called minimalist already!

Perfect!

I listened to the audio recording and felt a mixture of admiration and annoyance for the minimalist lifestyle. I can see how minimalism simplifies your life, making it more efficient, where you don't waste a lot of time. I also love the idea of focusing on one room at a time and accepting the limitations of others in choosing minimalism. But when it comes to books, more is better, disorder is in some respects, creative chaos and decoration rolled into one.
