What if the Evil Queen poisoned the prince?

Following her beloved mother’s death, Snow White’s kingdom falls into the hands of her stepmother, commonly referred to as the “Evil Queen” by those she rules. Snow keeps her head down at the castle, hoping to make the best of her situation.

But when a plot to kill her goes awry, everything changes for Snow. With the help of a group of wary dwarfs, a kind prince she thought she’d never see again, and a mysterious figure from her past, Snow embarks on a quest to stop the Evil Queen and take back her kingdom. But can she stop an enemy who knows her every move and will do anything to hold on to power...including go after the ones Snow loves?

Great Read!

OH WOW
This was a great read and it showed so much depth in the perspective of the Evil Queen, I liked the chapters where it explains her origins and why did she become like that, also I like how strong and determined Snow White became
The dwarves has a good part in the story but it did not overshadow the prince's role in the adventure
the book was really enjoyable and I'm really surprised that I loved it this much :)

I heard the narrator in other books but I have to say this one was her best performance .. good job

Not like the others!

I have read some of other books from this series but this one is hard to sit through. The story and characters aren’t interesting, and the narrator sound like she needs a nap. I just am not enjoying this book at all.

Definitely livened up the original story!

Snow White has traditionally been my least favorite princess because I honestly found her to be kinda boring, and normally I hate the "make a clearly evil villain sympathetic" trope.

That being said, I really enjoyed this! An interesting take on the how bitter ambition can transform an otherwise okay person. Snow was also pretty good, and I found her coping mechanisms to be very relatable.

The end was a little anti-climactic, but overall the story was solid. I liked the narrator's take on the different dwarf voices, though Grumpy seemed front and center in this narrative. Not bad at all!

Not Too Far Off The Original

I enjoyed the storyline but not all of the voices, especially young snow white!

Wonderful fairytale

The narrator sounded like she was in pain but it adds to the tone of the story. German fairytales traditionally were very scary and dark so this fits that all while still totally being appropriate for younger readers. The story moves along no scene or sequence is drawn out. Things are explained but other aspects are left mysterious. I found myself creating and imagining more to the backdrop which is a good sign. The language is not flowery or heavy and the story isn’t a deep psychological mind game. It’s an entertaining and familiar story with an enjoyable twist and details.

This was awesome. It kept me hooked from start to finish. It felt like the missing story from the Snow White movie.
