Great story, terrible narrator

Loved the story, but it was only that that kept me listening, as the narrator's tilt of her voice at the wrong times drove me nuts. If the story hadn't been so good I'd have stopped listening to her voice, I got used to it, but won't listen to a book read by her again.

Lovely story but the narrator was awful!

The upward inflection this narrator puts on every phrase, sometimes every other word, made it a very difficult and even painful listen. The story was sweet and I’m glad I persevered, but I think I’ve worn enamel off teeth from grinding them in annoyance at the way it was read. I will not listen to anything else she narrates which is a shame.
