Story
It was a glorious day. Farts had signed a peace treaty with the Burps. The celebration included fart bubbles and confartti flying from the gassiest hills on Fartville. Trumpets blasted out of butts. Farts shook hands with Burps. Everybody was happy until a new invader came flying from the sky. They were snotty, gooey, slimy Boogers that would stop at nothing until they controlled Gas Mountain. Whoever controls the fart gasses, controls it all.

Zach and Fred are best friends. They always have fun no matter where they go. Fred can be a little stinky sometimes, and he always eats way too much, but he is the greatest friend a kid could have. A family road trip is supposed to be a lot of fun… unless, of course, you’re the Heffleys. The journey starts off full of promise, then quickly takes several wrong turns. Gas station bathrooms, crazed seagulls, a fender bender, and a runaway pig - not exactly Greg Heffley’s idea of a good time. But even the worst road trip can turn into an adventure - and this is one the Heffleys won’t soon forget.

Most of the times this importance overshadows several other factors that build a child's personality in an impressive manner. Being one of those parents, if you are the one then this book perfectly belongs to you. As a parent, I myself am well aware of the value that morality contains. The moral values that we instill in our children or intend to transfer are definitely very much important. This is the reason that motivated me to develop a set of stories for children to educate them morally.

Disappointed with the basic grammar
My boys and I enjoyed this book; it is right up the alley of young boys. Lots of giggling was heard! My issue is that the author seems not to know when to use “me”vs. “I.” For example, one of the sentences is (paraphrased), “Out of the mountain emerged Wendall and I.” Obviously, this should be “… Wendall and me.” This occurs multiple times throughout the book. I just think if you are going to publish children’s books, either you or your editor should know basic grammar.

It was just ok. The story got a bit obnoxious with every other word being fart or burp related. It got a bit hard to follow for me, or maybe I just tuned it out. My kids listened to the whole thing but they didn’t really laugh. Wasn’t what I expected I guess.
