Publisher's Summary

Ben and Mira have driven the orcs off the deer women’s island, but the question is not if the orcs will return, but when.

over acting

Regularly sounds like a parent who is trying to over emphasize characters to their children.

more enemies on the horizon.

I rather enjoyed the new element added to this book. Discovering more mysteries of their island. I also enjoyed getting to see more of the kids again as his family continues to grow.

What the hell was that?

Adding a new "antagonist" having them be one of the most ancient evils in the world, powerful enough that even the gods couldn't kill them entirely, and having the MC beat them in less than an hour, from plan to finish, is just bad writing in my opinion. It added nothing to the story, you can skip this book and go straight to the next one and probably get the entire "story" from this book in the 2 minute recap i assume the next book will have...

Traitors get what they deserve

The moral of this story is that you can only escape justice for so long. A very clever story that mixes ancient treachery with a "you get what you deserve" kind of lesson
Keep up the great work

out of all the book series I've read... this is by far one if the best if not the best. I'm really looking forward for more to come!

I found it BS that the ghost ship just out of nowhere and became the new enemy like at least finish up with the orcs fist or something before you write it in. it just made the whole book feel like filler or something like I'm not even sure if this book was worth the listen too or if it'll be relevant in the next book guess I'll just have to find out. The performance though was outstanding, and I love all the effects you guys used it made it cool listening to it.
