3rd narrator for series, read/listen in order

Delightful. Charming. Story driven. Third narrator for series. Read/listen in order.

The characters of earlier books continue to appear (in s3c9ndary roles) in this sweet, clean, fun Western mail order tale, with occasional historic inaccuracies.

Narrating vs. Story Telling

This series was almost as painful to listen to as the second book of the last box set. There's a difference between narrating a book and story telling. Narrating is simply reading the book. Story telling is making you feel like you're experiencing the story. They should hire J. Scott Bennett from the first two box sets to finish it. At all costs. Raven's story in particular should have been a tear-jerker, but because the book reader's voice was so monotone, it was just a teeth-gnasher.

Book13 Yuk, Book 14 okay, Book 15 Best

Book 13 is a complete fail, with a hero who has a mental disorder caused by childhood trauma. He has come to town for vengeance and is a real pot stirrer. The heroine is a widow with two children who isn’t that likable. A very annoying story. Book 14 is about ranch foreman Eddie and a local waitress and has had a long time crush on him and her jealous ex boyfriend who is just forgotten in a very unsatisfactory ending. The story of Minx and Charlie sort of help this book as does the other Indian characters and auxiliary characters in the book like Randolph. Book 15 is the best of the Trio about a mail order bride who finds she and her intended have no chemistry. He also agrees and they break up. She still loves the town and especially the Indian brave she met her first day in town. This is a pleasant HEA love story worth the trio and you have to listen to the two other books to have continuity with the story of the town. Especially the auxiliary characters. I just had I listen to book 13 on a audio speed of 2.0 to get thorough it. Yeah it’s was bad.

Good stories but one of the narrators didn't care

The stories were interesting and make you want to go to this town and meet the people and see the town. It is a sweet clean romance filled with smiles, laughs, heart break and passion. I really enjoyed them but the first and last narrator is lacking, no emotion, no passion, There are a few places he repeats words, I didn't care for his character voices, it was hard to tell who was talking and what they were feeling. There was no volume change, no background noise. I really thought he took away from the story.

The middle did a good job, no repeating of words, he did give emotion and his character voices were nice. There were no volume changes or background noise. I enjoyed his narration but he still didn't make me believe they were Indians, they sounded just like normal people. I did like the way he delivered it and made me feel the emotions of the characters.

All in all it was a good listen, with enjoyable stories that held my attention. I really felt for the Indians and their live change. I thought the author really delivered true emotions that really touched your heart. There were times I had to chuckle and other times I was sad. I like how the mail order isn't always true mail order or things do not work out for the ones that wrote to each other. Which made me feel more like this was true and not just a made up story.

I was given given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I can't express enough how much I have come to enjoy this book series. With each new book I find myself becoming more & more interested in the twist & turns of all of the characters!! Joe & Switch are quite the "characters"!!!!

Montana Mailorder brides books 13,14,15

Book 13 Gina and Rick.
Book 14 deena and Eddie and book 15 raven and Zoe

While all 3 books were very good, I would probably say that my favorite one was the story of Gina and rick. Gina must learn to love again and Rick must learn to let go of all of his pent up frustrations. Once again author and narrators did an awesome job

KEEP EM COMING!

I can't get enough of this series! These books are full of drama, suspense and romance. The narration is great. It will keep you entertained. The author did an amazing job with the character builds and plot. I love that you get to keep up with all the previous characters. I look forward to reading the other books in this series. Not brilliant

I think the narrator makes a book and this one wasn’t that good. It just didn’t hold my attention ruin at all.
