Story
Evil rules the mean streets in many guises, waiting in the shadows along the crumbled edges of the mega-cities, where murder is the only crime that leaves a trace for lesser violent acts are simply not reported. Children, the elderly, the slightly and severely damaged make up the homeless. The weak and the helpless are deemed beyond salvation and beneath contempt by all but the strongest and the cruelest who see them as a source of sustenance.

Millions of threads so thin as to be invisible, so vaporous as to be ductile, drift through the classroom, emitting a chill and leaving a sense of unease. Hidden deep in their cloaks, the Blue Lights analyze the odors that cling to the individual cells of every child, from the top of each little head to the bottom of their ticklish feet and every dark secret place in between, from their gathering brains to their blood-soaked spleens. One girl feels dizzy; one boy throws up.

In a dystopian, war-torn future where a godless global network reprograms the masses for compliance, the Requiem units are a dying breed. Manned by sciocists - scientific exorcists - the units sweep cemeteries of "latent soul energy". However, there's a lot more than just ghosts in Graviton. Father Aguste Lax, military chaplain to Requiem 4, has his own doubts. The cross around his neck is a feeble reminder of his waning faith. Yet when they encounter a Type Six entity, no amount of quantum firepower can save them. Lax becomes their only hope for escaping Graviton alive.

A macabre yet enjoyable story.
**** SPOILER ALERT ****
I listened to "Moonlight Motor" on Audible, however, I recommend that you, yes you, my fellow readers pick up this spine-tingling story in any format.
Livingood does an excellent job of world building and character development as he weaves this fine macabre tale.
Sean Erik Hofman does a superb job of bringing this story to life with his excellent narration. Livingood chose well when he picked Hoffman.

Strange Train Ride
A creepy, strange, and short train ride with a homeless man is the best way I can sum up this story.
I see that other reviewers say that they are confused, left hanging, etc. But, sometimes the things that our imagination provides are far scarier than what an author writes in words.
The author definitely makes you wonder what is happening and makes you feel for the main character. The descriptions of his encounters with the train passengers give off just the right amount of creepy vibe.
The narrator, Sean Erik Hoffman, does a great job and adds a lot to the reader's enjoyment. If you are a fan of Twilight Zone type stories, give this one a listen. I will be thinking about this one for a while!

One Strange Train Ride
This is a short and strange story about a bum hitching a free ride on a train but is it the right train? The beginning is a bit slow, to setup the story but after about twenty minutes then the story picks up. If you enjoy a strange tale that leaves you scratching your head, in a good way, then you should check out this book. The narration is wonderfully done. Sean Erik Hoffman does an awesome job with giving the words the proper feeling. You can't help but get caught up with the feelings with his narration.

not sure what the point was
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Well... this short story seemed a bit... pointless. The only thing that kept me from completely losing interest was the great narration and the short length of time. I found myself looking at my phone to see how much was left. Mostly because I was expecting another shoe to drop that made everything I'd listened to make sense but it never really happened. Or, if it did, I guess I didn't get it.

I'm Going Off The Rails on a Crazy Train
This story itself is quite nonsensical. Not sure what the point was and I don’t think the main character did either. We are taken for a ride on a train and I really don’t know why. It could be me but the craziness of the train wasn’t ever really answered and I didn’t understand the point of the question.
I actually really liked the main character and wanted to hear something more than I did. He is an interesting guy and has potential, he is just stuck in a bad place and there is no resolution. The first few minutes provided the best part of his story and wanted to hear something more related to that.
Sean Erik Hoffman provided a really good narration. He provided excitement and tension in his character voice when it was appropriate and his energy is well received. I really enjoyed his narration and he made it worth the listen.

Great, Creepy, Quick Listen
I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook from the publisher/author in exchange for a voluntary honest review.
I truly haven't enjoyed most of the review copy audiobooks I've received over the last year, but this one was short and fun. It reminded me of some of Joe Hill or Blake Crouch's earlier short stories; creepy, well thought out, and not too long to get boring or overly complex.
The critical diction police part of me does need to point out that some things are overly reiterated when not necessary. Specifically, saying snow over and over again in the beginning of the story made me cringe a little; but I otherwise have no complaints.
I also want to add that, unlike most of the other review copy audibooks, the narration in this book is actually really good.

Strange but Entertaining Short
This is a weird story. You start in media res with little idea what's happening but it's frenetic in its writing and performance. Then the setting changes and things calm down, but you much like the character don't know what's going on but know something is wrong. The sense of unease builds as you barrel towards the ending.
I might not have fully understood the metaphor but I did like the writing and narration and would recommend. I received the review code for this audiobook at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
