In 1986 Sherri Rasmussen was brutally murdered in her own home. She was a young nurse who had already worked her way to becoming the director of nursing at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and had just gotten married three months earlier. But when her husband John returned home on February 24th, 1986 he found her laying dead on their living room floor and their home absolutely ransacked. Was this a case of robbery gone wrong or was someone in a position of power responsible?

Let's go trek through France in the late 1850's, shall we? Martin Dumollard witnessed his father's brutal torture and execution at the age of 4 and from that moment on, he became an unfeeling machine of mayhem. He robbed, assaulted and murdered his way through adulthood until finally, his terrorizing reign came to a fitting end.

I'm ruined

I'm ruined for almost all other true crime podcasts. I have been a true crime junkie since I was a kid watching 48 hrs with my mom. I love how Ash & Alaina can be so informative, tactful/sensitive towards victims and also fuggin hilarious. I'm obsessed and tell everyone who will listen to check them out.

Amazing Podcast

My favorite podcast to listen to! The two ladies that run this podcast do a fantastic job in providing the information in a way that doesn't make your stomach turn. They do warn you if something horrible is coming up in case you would prefer to skip, which I also appreciate. I saw them in person when they did some tours last years. Worth the money.

Good true crime podcast!

I listen to a lot of true crime, and these two women are very fun to listen to (as fun as true crime can be, anyway). Recommend giving it a try.

For real weirdos... VERY RECOMMENDED!

I'm binging this podcast for a long time and I'm always waiting for the newest episodes. Alaina and Ash are amazing storytellers, their topics are morbid, truly, but they are able to make a light-hearted show with their personalities that's super enjoyable but still scary. I love their care for details and researching, their respect for the victims and focus on their lives, but they also go discuss about the psychology behind crimes. listening to their show always makes me feel like I'm chatting with my friends discussing crimes – except for the fact that my friends are not into true crime.

Best true crime podcast

This is my favorite true crime podcast. Alaina and Ash provide the perfect amount of banter while still telling the story, unlike some other podcasts where it is all story and no banter. These two have great chemistry and the pace of the podcast is perfect. They also choose very interesting topics and are very knowledgeable.

Obnoxious

The story are interesting but these women are very obnoxious and annoying and I just wish they would have someone else do these. They honestly ruin it for the whole podcast and you at least 70 percent of them talking is completely unrelated to the story and it’s just them talking about their irrelevant opinions and ideas/stories.

Disappointing

It's like two immature girls who are super annoying. One just repetitively echos the other one and they aren't funny. Story sounded like it would have been good if there hadn't been so much added valley girl commentary.

Miss the "old" Morbid

Have been a listener since the early days when Ash was still a hairdresser & they were recording in Alaina's laundry room. I still check in now and again, but I miss the old chemistry & banter that made you feel that you were discussing a true crime case with your friends. Not enjoying all these "special guest episodes" & "listener tale" filler episodes.

Just like hanging out with friends!

Have been listening on Spotify and just switched over to audible to listen. This would have to be my favourite true crime podcast. The girls are awesome, and their banter is easy and funny to listen to. Their episodes are well planned and researched. They make you feel a little less weird for being into this stuff!!!
Love them!
