The series gets better and better with each book.

I am a fan of the Mister Series, and now that I'm listening to the books the stories and characters are more appealing to me. The series is about five men who, as college students, are accused of a crime they didn't commit. All five men are hot, successful, and have secrets that unfold a little with each new story.

Mr. Corporate is the most "edge of the seat" mystery to me so far. There is the major story arc through the series regarding what happened in college and why. Who is behind the accusations and why do they want to hurt these particular men? There is also the second chance romance between Weston Conrad and Victoria Arias.

Weston and Victoria (Tori) are on again, off-again lovers since college. When the relationship is good, it is on fire and works for both West and Tori. However, Tori takes offense to everything West says and does romantically causing problems.

Tori is a major witch with a "B" in the beginning. What I like is that as the story moves and the characters develop we learn some of Tori's secrets. These revelations soften the readers' judgment regarding her actions.

The narrators did a fantastic job bringing this story to life. I enjoy the way Abby Craden has the tone of a "Queen B" in the beginning then as the story unfolds, she softens, and we feel Victoria's love for West.

Ryan West does an excellent job narrating Weston Conran's point of view. His contradiction of strength and weaknesses come through his voice and give me a complete picture of the character. I love how Ryan conveys Weston's inner conflict regarding Victoria. Weston knows that Victoria is the woman for him but also faces the fact that their union may never happen.

The narrators gave me new insight into this couples' story, and, while I like the book when I initially read it, the audio gives me the opportunity to see the events from a different perspective. The mystery and the secrets these friends hold are cause for more anxiety. Also, this time listening to the story, I feel more fear for the group, not just this couple.

I can't wait for Mr. Mysterious. Great job!

Victoria Arias= 40 times too many

What was most disappointing about JA Huss’s story?

Here is the thing-- I normally like JA Huss's writing style. I loved the 1st book in this series and I liked the second even though it was a bit more controversial-no problems there. This book though.....Oh how I struggled to finish this book. I would not have finished it had it not been part of a series that I want to see to the end. I also figured I would miss some Easter eggs if I skipped it. I was right. So the most disappointing part of this book was the character of Victoria Arias. Not only was she maybe the most annoying character I have ever come across but the constant use of her full name drove me nuts. It was used 40 times. I did a search on my Kindle just to see. It was very annoying.

What does Abby Craden and Ryan West bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narration was great. I had no problems there. Although I have to say that Abby's narration was also spot on bitchy for Victoria. I can't say that it helped me to like the character any better, it was performed as written.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I could not stop myself over and over from thinking "what an utter bitch" when it came to Victoria. I found everything about her to be childish and sullen instead of confident and independent as she wanted to be perceived. Oh and the constant slapping and hitting that she did of Weston while they were on the island. Enough already. I honestly cannot think of one redeeming quality for this character. I could go on and on about her negative traits and I cannot think of one positive one. So yeah, worst heroine ever and I use that term in the loosest form.

I am continuing with the series but this book was a definite fail for me. I would not read it again and I cannot recommend it.

Not my favorite in the Mister Series

I did not care for the constant fighting between Victoria and Mr. Corporate. She must get exhausted constantly trying to find something to argue with him about...I know it exhausted me.

I hate the heroin

Victoria was abusive. She is totally a person to hate. The story line is great despite the hated character. Worth the credit.

This series is frying my brain

I must say, I was disappointed in Mr. Perfect ' s story, overall. With the exception of the message that the author expressed about how any kind of accusation, whether it is found true or false, has lasting consequences. That message continues through Mr. Romantic and Mr. Corporate ' s stories, also. Which is an important truth that everyone should accept. Never make an accusation unless you are 110% positive that the accusation is based on fact. Otherwise, a innocent person's path can be changed, forever and changing a person's life and all that they will ever be is nothing to take lightly. This lesson is especially important with the media and tabloids that often convict the innocent in the court of public opinion. JH is right to pound this message in this series. My only issue is the ongoing mystery about what REALLY happened to cause this 5 college men to be accused of committing a gang rape. I am a reader/listener who notes details and remembers the details of everything I read for years to come but, I want to pound my head against the wall with this mystery. I keep thinking that I must have missed some hint because I'm not figuring it out. I can't find any patterns that make since. Maybe it's just because this is so well written. IDK, I'm starting to think that the author is messing with the readers. I guess I won't know until the last book in the series. I hope they are released soon, on audio. I gotta find out who dunnit!

Mr corporates sexy sweet!!

Corporate is a super sexy guy that yearns for a traditional life.
Victoria is a modern woman who has no plans to give up her independent professional life and settle for that vanilla soccer mom lifestyle.
But as we all know nothing Huss writes is ever boring vanilla.
The sex scenes between these two are just as delishly descriptive as all her books..
And thank God because I wouldn't have a Huss book any other way!
This book had a plenty of action and WTF?

Just when you think you have it all figured out..another curve ball comes flying your way.
The narration was pure perfection!!
I love the fact that different narrator's are used for each book.
At the end we get a sneak peek of Mr Mysterious.
I was very excited when I recognized the voice of Mysterious as the one and only
Sebastian York.
Ohh yeah I will pre order that one for sure!
I will gladly give a credit for every book in this series.

This third book in the Mister series was action packed and full of twists that I didn't see coming! I loved that Five and Oliver had a lot of involvement in this book! The narrators were great as Weston and Victoria!

The Plot Thickens!

Where does Mr. Corporate rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Average I would say. It was very good.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mr. Corporate?

When West and Victoria sit down with Five, Mr. Mysterious and Mr. Match. More of the overall story gets revealed.

What about Abby Craden and Ryan West ’s performance did you like?

I love that it didn't feel like they were reading. It felt like they were acting. Those make the best audiobooks.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This is a tough question. I already mentioned one of my most memorable moments. I can't say I was moved by anything in particular. This story just keeps getting more intense and I've enjoyed every moment of the mystery.

Can't wait for Mr. Mysterious to be released. :)
