Publisher's Summary

A mule deer hunter never can know everything about hunting these animals because they live in over 18 states, Canada, and Mexico, and all types of terrains, including the mountains, the plains, and in deserts and creek bottoms. They’re hunted with bows, rifles, sniper rifles, and black-powder rifles. This audiobook tells how more than 30 mule-deer hunting disciples find and take mule deer at different times of the seasons. Mule-deer hunting is for all people - the young, the old, the physically challenged, and the extremely athletic. Let this bible be your guide to a wide variety of hunting techniques for mule deer, including long-range shooting.

I believe this book is one large product advertisement and that the author is a con.

Throughout the book he is advertising products, it seems like an advertisement in every other sentence, it is so annoying! He doesn’t really give any tips except for basic superficial information that seem like common sense such as buy good boots “oh I use blank and you can buy it at www.blank.com” Then he advertises his shooting class. Other than this is just stories that I don’t buy. Worst hunting book I’ve ever bought, I’m asking for a refund.

Full of great info but......

This, along with all of John Phillips books are stocked full of great information and experiences from many experienced hunters, though the constant URL spouted off throughout is something I could have done without. Personally, one should be able to research from the information provided without all of that.

Too many dictated URLs

Had to stop listening. The book would probably be descent if not for the monotonous URL pitches every three minutes. It seems like the book was written solely for the purpose of advertising for products and websites.

Good muley book

Good hunting stories, picked up some tips. But, this would be a better book to actually read rather than listen to as the spoken URLs are frequent and monotonous. Otherwise, as I head to the badlands for my first bow spot and stalk on mule deer, it's a great way to get get excited for the season!
