Laugh-out-loud funny, aimed at very young children

'Why do we have a tortoise?' I asked dad.
'Couldn't get a rhinoceros,' said dad. 'He'll [...] scare away any foxes. His name is Schumacher.'

A fun book aimed at young children, but made me smile and laugh out loud a few times, even though I'm well above the target audience! It's about a family who end up starting a small farm to earn more money and one of the baby twins enters a trial for a nappy advert because of his bottom! Quite a lot of humour, but more in the first half of the book than the second half. Some of the gender roles are a bit stereotypical (Mum is the sensible, mature one and Dad isn't), if that bothers you.

Narration is fantastic and makes the book better in my opinion.

Funny children's story

Witty with a fair storyline. It moved quickly for a short children's story. Pretty good
