I’m a SEAL. Or rather, I was. Retired at the grand old age of 38, I’m at loose ends. My best friend wants me to join his security team. I’m not sure I’m bodyguard material, but he needs someone to protect his kid brother. How hard can spoiled brat duty be? Somehow, I missed the part where former child star Danny Love went from dorky TV darling to all grown up and disturbingly attractive. All the gossip about his wild ways fails to mention that he’s trying hard to clean up his act.

Publisher's Summary
Michael knows what he wants. He wants a daddy.
When yet another attempt at a relationship fails, Michael decides to find himself his daddy. The one man that will care for him, nurture him, and love him for who he is. Twenty-six years old and successful in his career, Michael knows he’s missing out on life. He’s a quiet, introverted man with desires that seem too far out of his reach. Until he goes to Escape, one night.
Callum is tired of being lonely. He has everything to offer the right man. When 40-year-old Callum is encouraged to visit Escape, his hopes are high, but his expectancy of finding the perfect man is low...until he sees a young man nervously looking around the club.
Everything about him ticks Callum’s boxes. Shorter than his six-foot frame with blond curls that cry out to be stroked and a look of anxious longing on his face. Callum is transfixed.
With only a few words exchanged, the two men are hooked, eager to explore everything they have ever dreamed of. Is this a life they can fulfill, or will they find too many obstacles in their way?
My Kind of Man is an MM romance, with an age gap, a very caring daddy, and a boy who craves it. Mild domination/ submission with ABDL and full to the brim with love. This book was previously released as by AG Silver.

Terrific Story & Listen🎧 Sweet & Enjoyable!
This is a great M/M Daddy/Little romance. This is not my first M/M romance story nor my first Daddy/little romance but it is my first M/M Daddy/little and my first book written by J.J Harper and narrated by Christopher Solon and each gifted in their art. The book is well written with interesting storylines that grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. The characters are complex and nicely developed, I liked both lead characters, Callum and Michael, each had unique and specific needs and I thought they were great together and for each other. In addition to relationship drama, there is some work place and family drama. There is never a dull moment in this book, it is well plotted and there in addition to relationship drama, there is some work place and family drama, some angst, some heartfelt moments and the start of a great romance with some great loving. JJ Harper, thank you for this great story!
Christopher Solon is a terrific narrator and voice artist. He brings the character to life, giving each their own voice and personalty. You could hear how much heart he puts into his performance as he captures and projects the character emotions into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

Very Interesting Story
First off, the kink presented isnt one I share IRL, but it was still an intriguing story. I liked the connection between the two men. If this is your kink or something you’re interested in I’d suggest this book. Hell, I recommend it just for the fact I’ve never read anything like it, The narrator was the perfect choice for this book.

Love this book!
My Kind of Man is Book 1 in the Heavyload! series. I love this book. A sweet caring daddy to his sweet boy, with an age gap, yes please! Michael finds himself at club Escape looking for the perfect daddy. Callum is at the club looking for the perfect boy to take care of. They find each other and I love the journey they take to their happy ending, it's a little bumpy but they get there. I can't wait to enjoy more of this series. I need more of the other wonderful characters in this book.
It you enjoy sweet daddy/boy stories you don't want to miss this one. I highly recommend it.

Heartwarming journey for love!
I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. JJ Harper has written a captivating and heartwarming story. When Callum and Michael meet they think that they have the daddy/little relationship that each is looking for. Like any relationship it has its ups and downs. One of the most important aspects they both must face is having the courage to embrace whom they truly are and then go after what they want. They must also cast away old fears. The author has the fascinating ability to make the listener feel the emotions of these characters. I fell in love with these characters and also their supportive friends.
Christopher Solon is a new narrator to me. This man puts his heart into this story. He will capture your attention and hold it throughout the story. He makes you feel the emotions of these characters. Wow, can he bring a love scene to life. He is a fantastic storyteller and I loved listening to him. I highly recommend this Audible book!

Trying to Get It Right
I listened to the Audible version and found that I had to push the speed to 1.3. I loved the idea of the story and think this will be a good series. I did get upset at Michael because he was so upset that Callum didn't react like he expected and then runs off to scene with some else. It takes friends interference to get them back on track. And then again something goes wrong and Michael is quick to run. I was relieved when "daddy" finally took a stand. It was good to see them finally get past the struggles to find the balance they needed.

Callum & Michael
A great story that is brought to life by a wonderful narration. The narrator did a great job with the characters and the story. It's a sweet and sometimes quite bumpy journey for Michael/Mikey and Callum to become Daddy/Boy. They each find just what they need in the other but need to learn to really trust in one another. That seems to be the hardest part for them, especially for Michael. A great story overall and I'm looking forward to the next one in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

Interesting story
I really like JJ Harper's insightful writing style and this book was again great writing.
Mickey is looking for a daddy who also lives this lifestyle. He quickly meets Callum in a club who is looking for a Little. The two quickly find each other and I was wondering where the story was going. This is where the author really surprised me with her unforeseen twists that made the plot interesting. You could feel the emotions right away while listening to it.
Mickey and Callum are very likeable characters that you can't help but love. I liked the development of their relationship with all the ups and downs. The two are authentically described and I liked the insecure and vulnerable sides of Daddy Callum as much as strong sides of the businessman Michael.
The audiobook was narrated by Christopher Solon, whose voice I really enjoyed listening to. He has a pleasant speaking pace and brings the characters to life, giving each protagonist a distinct voice and personality. It was a pleasure to listen to him.
I highly recommend this audio book to lovers of daddy stories!

An enjoyable listening
I have to admit it was my first age-play and first daddy kink book. I decided it is not my cup of tea, so maybe also the last one but I wanted to give it a try and it was a good book to do it with. JJ's writing style is enjoyable, the characters are real and loveable, and the story is interesting, I haven't feel it flat or boring anywhere. I liked Callum and Mickey very much, and it was good to see how their relationship worked itself out from the first sparks between them. Because looks is just one thing the true value lies within.
This was also my first audiobook from Christopher Solon but definitely not the last! I liked his voice and performance very much!

I think that Christopher did a good job on this book!

Really hot story
This is a hot daddy/little story with great characters and an intriguing plot. I loved mikey and his daddy but the support characters are equally wonderful. The narration is great and really brings the characters to life. I will definitely look out for the next book.

Brilliant
Loved Michael and Callum's story . The fact Michael knows what he wants and won't be hidden. Callum wants a boy but can he be the daddy Michael wants ?
Christopher Solon narrated the book very well . Thoroughly enjoyed

I had a few issues
3.5 Stars
The writing was great. The storyline kept me totally interested and there was enough substance that it wasn't boring. This just was a little too much for me, though. There were some cringeworthy goings on that bothered me about it.
I don't discount the ability of A.G. Silver to create a wonderful story, though, and two MC's who were clearly meant to be. And the fact that they both had support and a great, open, honest relationship with themselves as well as those involved in their lives was awesome.

Enjoyable
This is a book that I wasn't sure about at first, and then got more invested in as the storyline developed. I think this might have been because Mikey and Callum become a Daddy and his boy within the first few chapters and I wondered where else the story could go.
A strength is that Mikey and Callum are extremely likeable characters. I love that Daddy Callum has a few uncertain moments and isn't afraid to let Mikey see him vulnerable. Mikey, as Michael, is a successful businessman yet thoroughly embraces his little side. I have read ABDL stories before, but this is certainly the one where it is featured most. I am also intrigued by the addition of the Stefan/Mikey side story and how easily it is accepted and forgiven by Callum.
I enjoyed the narration by Christopher Solon who speaks clearly and at an acceptable pace. I liked his character voices and found it easy to follow the changes in speaker without getting lost. I must admit that, despite the use of words like diaper and binky, I did wonder what the narration would be like with a British accent.
