Publisher's Summary

A not-so-sweet 16....

Rich girl Lindsay Peyton is throwing the biggest and best Sweet Sixteen bash that Bayport has ever seen. But when Frank and Joe discover that her car has been keyed, it looks like someone isn't so happy that Bayport's princess is showing off. Meanwhile, a group calling themselves the Scaredevils is filming themselves committing random mischief around town - including keying Lindsay's car - which threatens the security of Lindsay's big day. Frank and Joe are determined to uncover the mastermind behind the videos and the vandalism before Lindsay's Sweet Sixteen turns into a party she will never forget...for all the wrong reasons.

HBA “Mystery of the Phantom Heist”

I really like how Joe (and Frank) use YouTube and their skills to track down the “Scaredevils” and how at the end, they save Lindsey Paiton’s
Birthday, and she says that they rock. My least favorite part is when Frank and Joe find Collin Sylvester and Sierra Mitchell kissing, and how Sierra is a cheater.

Terrible

I thought I was introducing my 9 year old to the original series in audio. She lives the books. TERRIBLE! Not appropriate for kids. Absolutely horrible. To the parents who want to keep their kids minds clean and not introduce the whole girl boy thing at a young age and want their children to have respectful vocabulary please stay away from these modern versions of Hardy boys and also the Nancy Drew’s. Original versions were great!

not like the originals

they use the same names and the same basic plot. but this seems to be written for a much younger age. I remember reading the original Hardy Boys when I was like 9 or 10 years old. I still enjoy reading them today. this series it seems to be written for probably first or second graders.

Great book!!!

Some of the “bad guys” are pretty easy to figure out, but the book overall was still entertaining and fun to listen to! A great read for teens! 👍
