Perfect for beginners like me

I like that every health benefit mentioned in this book is based on actual research. Every mushroom and herb remedy has its own chapter so it’s easy to pick and choose which one you want to hear about! I was excited to learn about oyster mushrooms, basil, turmeric and lavender in particular as I love them! But there’s so much more.
I thought it was useful to also have the side notes about dosage and what to watch out for, in terms of combining herbs and mushroom supplements with some medications. Also, the bonus chapters are awesome! Who knew?
Perfect for beginners as it’s packed with knowledge yet easy to grasp and put to practice. I’m on anti inflammatory foods at the moment but didn’t know about adding turmeric or spirulina!
Does exactly what’s on the tin and more. Would totally recommend.

MUST Read if you want to learn about natural herbal remedies!

I’m a Pharmacist and I’ve been eager to learn more about natural remedies and how they can benefit both me and family, so glad that I found this book!

It’s a comprehensive guide that includes remedies for the common cold, the flu and more. It even discusses antiviral remedies which is great since there really aren’t any traditional medicines for viruses!

I really appreciate the fact the author went into detail about dosing, allergies and even interactions with other meds! If you’re interested in learning about the benefits of holistic medicine, then this is def worth the read!

Fascinating

It can be easy to dismiss plant-based medicines and cures as new age mumbo jumbo until of course, you consider that most medicines are just synthetic versions of naturally occurring chemical compounds found in... plants. These 3 books in 1 each pick their own niche but there's no mumbo-jumbo waffling here. The information is just factual properties of the various plants and fungi as recognised by science and how they may be used and for which purposes. Very interesting!

Organized into easily digestible chapters.

It’s nice to have a resource that emphasizes a more a natural approach to nutrition and healthy eating. I found that this audiobook touched on all the points necessary to get a good feeling for herbal alternatives for many common ailments. I liked how the audiobook was organized into bite-sized chunks making it easier to listen to. I was able to listen to small informative segments while on my morning commute. The 3rd book on mushrooms was enlightening for me as I hadn’t really explored all of the benefits of medicinal mushrooms before. All in all, a great resource for those wanting to explore a more holistic approach to health care.

Incredible information

This book has reallt helped educate me on the state of natural medicine, which I think is such an overlooked fiedl of medicine due to all the modern mediine that is pushed. I feel we should consider natural medicine more in the medical field.

Herbal Medicine is a little less of a mystery

This book covers literally everything natural Herbal Medicine. What an interesting book. I especially found the section about mushrooms interesting, I had no idea that mushrooms had so many healing qualities and over 2000 different species of edible mushrooms! This book has really tested my comfort zone by exploring different Medicine options. I really enjoyed listening to all the healing qualities of lavender also, what an incredible plant. Having listen to this audiobook, Herbal Medicine is a little less of a mystery. I also loved the bird sounds at the start of chapters in the last section, very cute touch. Well researched book. Highly recommend.

I like how it breaks down each herb.

As someone with a medical background, I like how each herb is broken down by type, sources, and even doses for. I enjoyed how it used research behind each outcome and how it explained other benefits that aren't widely known. A good book looking for anyone who is looking for a way to naturally treat different conditions.

Great guide for Herbal Remedies!

I'm always curious and look for natural medicinal plants, herbs, and spices that I can use at home. I Especially look for the benefits of each plant and vegetable so I can apply them to the everyday menu. I think it would be a great benefit for health. I discover there are so many different types of mushrooms in this book that I thought they are poisonous. But they are really in good use.

Very Informative!

The best guide for medicinal herbalism indeed. As I randomly got this, i enjoyed it a lot. I love spices and herbs myself and this book got me so interested. As a beginner, I only knew a few herbs and spices, and not really surprised when I learned a lot from this book that there is so much more out there. And this is going to be helpful when i get to have a chance to store spices and herbs on my shelves soon. Great content and all, this was very helpful.

Such a useful resource

This book is such a useful resource to refer to when considering options for common medical ailments, I didn't know Gingko was good for blood flow and heart health for example, and will add it to my shopping list! It goes well with the book on herbs and spices as I drink herbal tea all the time and wasn't aware of some of the effects, and topped off by the little book on mushrooms, did you know oyster mushrooms had ant-cancer effects, I didn't?
A useful addition to a medicine cabinet!
