Over a stellar career, Roger Martin has advised the CEOs of some of the world's most successful companies. From the beginning, he noted that almost every executive he talked to had a "model"—a framework or way of thinking that guided their strategy and activities. But these models tended to become automatic, so much so that when one didn't work, the typical response was just to apply it again—with greater enthusiasm.

Good Advice to Help with Self-Discipline
This book was well written and researched, you can tell as you listen to it. There are bits of advice or tips on how to catch yourself that are worth the price of the book many times over. The book is concise yet very effective, doesn't go long into the non-actionable information etc. that we all want but can get through additional research etc.

Nothing is easy
Has some useful tips and tricks into how to create better habits and coming to recognize the ways in which we self sabotage. However, it makes assumptions about how we are 'supposed' to be. Which is fine if you've never bothered to look past why life 'should or shouldn't' be any particular way (e.g. societal prioritizations etc).

Best book of it's kind
Over the years I have read many self help type books and this is by far the best I have read.
It is simple and logical in it's content and it's presentation and can be easily compared to real life in both business and personal areas of my life.
The layout and advice is in an easy step by step format and applying the principals is quick and easy, as it advises a small but regular progression of improvement in bite size pieces.
I will listen to this book over and over and as I feel I need a bit of a tune up.
