Life was bad and getting worse in the depths of Salvation. It did not take the people of Level Three long to realize that the only reason they had been spared from the cataclysm was to become a slave class. Now, a single accident has changed everything. Story
Sal had woken up with no recollection of the night before a few times but never like this...in a forest...alone...confused...scared. She scoured her surroundings, desperate for some clue as to how she’d ended up here. Fragments of conversations, snapshots of memories were all she could scramble together. But, suddenly, none of it mattered. A stranger. A warning. And the hunt is on. Now Sal and her friends are in a battle like no other. Death and terror lurk around every corner. Can they defy the odds and live to fight another day? Or will they fall like so many before?

It was just a random mutation - one of a billion that happen in viruses every day. But this one was different. It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

Publisher's Summary
They were sure a battle was coming. They just didn’t know how bad it would be.
A new dawn has risen on Safe Haven, and it’s the darkest they’ve ever seen.
In a heartbeat, the world they have fought so hard to build has been torn apart. Now all that remains is to see if it can be pieced back together.
For some, it’s too late. For the rest, there’s only one option. It’s a fight to the death. Kill or be killed.
Today, fate takes no prisoners. Today is the end of their new beginning. But is it the beginning of the end?

You can never go wrong with Christospher and Kim
It's hard to leave reviews that don't give the plot away. The fight continues for Mike and Company as they strive to make and keep their own little Safe Haven a place of peace and joy during the Christmas holidays. You will cry and you will cheer for our heroes as they yet again face a battle with a larger force. Christopher is such a wonderful story teller and Kim brings everyone to life. I hope this duo go on to work together for many years to come.

Whew- be prepared!
This author has become one of my favorites! I’ve read safe haven, and the end of everything. This is the first book that kinda ties it all together between the two series, I listened to this in one night. I literally cleaned the top of my cabinets @ 330am just to keep awake to finish.
The entire story happens in ONE DAY! So many emotions, so many moments I had to stop, rewind and make sure this was real.
Narration- I only listen to female narrators, idk why I can’t stand a mans voice. Some of my favorites are Julia Whelan, Stacey Glemboskie, Laura Fontage- but Kim Is the absolute best one ever. Different voices- I know who’s speaking before the author tells me who’s speaking. The way she’s given each character such a personality alongside the writing. I never want this series or pairing to end.

Death or Glory
In my opinion, one mark of a great author is their ability to make the reader feel deep emotions. That being said, Christopher Artinian is a great author! This book will leave you raw with emotion after the the author has dragged you through the character's lives.
The book has plenty of feel good moments as our band of survivors try to bring back some normality to their lives with celebrations and holidays. But, as readers of this series know, happiness doesn't live long in this post-apocalyptic world. To say more would be unfair to future readers, but be warned that you will probably fell like throwing things or hitting someone (the author, maybe?) as you read this book.
But, as always, there are some bright spots and some wisdom in this book as well. As Mila says, "The ones we love never leave us. They live on in what we do, what we think, and what we say."
I especially like the fact that Mr. Artinian is not afraid to have very strong women characters who are awesome zombie killers and very horrible women villains. In a (mostly) male dominated genre, I find this very refreshing. I look forward to many more adventures with these characters, who have become like family to me.
Even though I had read this book in January, listening to the audiobook made the whole book really come alive for me. The narrator, Kim Bretton, continues to amaze me with her talent. She has a different (and very recognizable) voice for each character and her pacing is perfect. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I still could feel the tension and the emotion when I listened to the book.
This pairing of author and narrator has become my favorite team and I always know that I will thoroughly enjoy their work.

OMG! The only thing I hate about this series is waiting in the next book!
Mike, Wren, Robin and Mia…. Oh and Wolf! I can’t get enough of these characters because they feel like my family! Why? Because the writing is that incredible…… and because Kim Bretton makes them come to life in the most epic way! Even when your heart gets broken by parts of this book you’ll be smiling and happy at other parts. So much going on at all times in this series and it just keeps getting better and better. Love every min of every story!

Calling for a Christmas miracle !
Christmas is coming , chapter after chapter as everything looks normal you can feel the tension climbing in the background, you know its coming the big twist which Christopher Artinian never misses a beat knowing exactly when to flip the calm into a storm.
I swear that with any other author by now after twenty books into both series’s which are truly only one couldn’t keep up with Chris’s imagination, he is truly the master when it comes to this genre and to putting it all on paper !
And as usual the beautiful voice of Kim Bretton like a song narrated it into a perfect package.
I’ve started writing this review after listening to the first two hours, now that I’m done listening to the whole book all i can say is a big big:
WOW.
Absolutely
Without a doubt,
This series is fully
