definitely worth picking up

the only thing that could've made this better is if Cory himself narrated it :) I'm really glad I picked it up for a listen as it really was enjoyable although I think I'll still want a physical copy to stick some bookmarks and sticky notes into.

Highly recommended

I bought this book from a recommendation and I’m sooooo happy I did because at first I thought I didn’t need to dive into folklore but this book made it fun and so knowledgeable, I have such a new appreciation for folklore and the imagery this book painted in my mind. It feels like a reawakening inside me happened while listening to it. I appreciate the journey this book took me through.

Much more useful as a physical copy

If you are a practitioner of witchcraft looking for inspiration, do yourself a favor and buy a physical copy of this book. It is very dense with information and you will drive yourself crazy trying to bookmark everything.

White Supremacy on a Platter

Chapter two literally calls colonizers “settlers,” and then goes on to say, “ or invaders, depending on your point of view.”

There is not another point of view.

How can you write a book about Native Americans, and not recognize that the Europeans WERE invaders. Point blank period.

Virtue Signaling

Virtue signaling throughout; which to me, signals a sort of off putting desperation on behalf of the author. Nonetheless, if I’d wanted to be preached to…I’d have gone to church.

This was a instant Classic!

I wonderful guide of North American Folkloric Magic practice. Beautifully Written and exceptionally performed. An instant Classic up there with the works of Corrine Boyer and Cody Dickerson, but with a touch of the Familiar from The new world witchery podcast! Bravo And amazing work!
