The unmissable thriller from the master storyteller.

London, 1988. Royal fever sweeps the nation as Britain falls in love with the ‘people’s princess’.

Which means for Scotland Yard, the focus is on the elite Royalty Protection Command, and its commanding officer. Entrusted with protecting the most famous family on earth, they quite simply have to be the best. A weak link could spell disaster.

Detective Chief Inspector William Warwick and his Scotland Yard squad are sent in to investigate the team. Maverick ex-undercover operative Ross Hogan is charged with a very sensitive—and unique—responsibility. But it soon becomes clear the problems in Royalty Protection are just the beginning. Great series

This is such a fun series. I’m looking forward to the next episode already. Jeffrey Archer is so creative with his plot lines even if they are a bit predictable. Love this series almost as much as Cormirand Strike!

Great characters and story

Jeffrey Archer is a great writer. He doesn't bog you down with characters that have no redeeming qualities, for the most part. Make sure to read these books in order. You don't have to read the Clifton Chronicles to read these. They are their own series. However, the protagonist was a character written by the main character in the Clifton Chronicles. The only reason you would read that series first is that it is an amazing story.

Best in the series in my opinion

Loved every minute of it, sometimes it seems for every step forward three steps backward are taken with the plots of this author and series. This one had new twists and more winning, I can't wait until the next in the series

Exceptional!!

I’m now at the end of this amazing, Archer series! I’ve gotten so very wrapped up in his great plots and life like characters. The story lines were gripping, and kept me totally engaged throughout… The narrator was also total perfection.
I’m now caught up on all of Archer’s books so I will just have to wait - impatiently- for more !!
I really enjoyed his attention to detail in the unfolding of his plots and subplots - as well as his characters…
Thank you Jeffrey Archer !!
Awesome work !!

Love this Series!

Rarely do I give a 5-star review, but I always enjoy anything that Jeffrey Archer writes. He's such an outstanding author. If you can imagine, this book is one of his better books. Always something intriguing that grabs your attention from the very first page. Loved it and hated when it ended.
