Publisher's Summary

“Are you calling dibs?”

“She’s a woman, not the last piece of f--king pie. And yes, I’m calling dibs if it keeps your hands off of her.”

Carter Pierce is a man who believes in signs. He just doesn't know what to do with this one.

In the small town of Blue Moon Bend, where everybody is a matchmaker and a tie-dye wearing hippie, Carter wants to be left alone to tend the family farm. After returning from Afghanistan with scars, his only goal is recovery. He doesn't need distractions. Definitely not one with silver-blonde hair who just keep getting in his way.

Summer Lentz is a big city journalist sent to interview Carter and his family. She's out of place in the small town, with her designer wardrobe and workaholic lifestyle. She asks too many questions and doesn't take no for an answer, threatening to destroy the peace that Carter has been working towards. She thwarts every attempt he makes to retreat back inside himself, somehow bringing him closer to being whole again.

Summer has secrets of her own, but she never planned to open up to anyone - especially not the scowling, secretive farmer whose story she's after. But as she gets drawn into the community, she starts to realize that she can't stay closed off forever.

And what's more, she doesn't want to.

Can Carter and Summer grow closer with a little help from the town? Or will secrets keep them apart?

Great Small Town Story

No More Secrets is book one in the Blue Moon series, and it introduces us to a quirky “hippie” small town Upstate New York - Blue Moon Bend.
Our hero, Carter Pierce is an Army veteran, who returned from service to take over the family farm. The heroine, Summer Lentz is send to Blue Moon to write a story about organic Farming by the magazine she works for.
As Summer follows Carter in the day to day operations of the farm she meets his family, the town’s busy bodies, and a great cast of supporting characters, both of human and animal varieties.
I loved this heartwarming story, it has all the attributes we expect in a fabulous rom-com - captivating story line, well developed, lovable characters, small town shenanigans, mischievous animals, meddling community, humor, swoon, bit of steam AND most importantly - an epic Happily Ever After!
I definitely recommend this gem of a book to all romcom enthusiasts!

Carter and Summer

A beautiful story of two souls with their own fears and nightmares coming together and finding love and learning to trust. A small quirky town , a tight knit Family and some farm animals and you have the perfect mix of wonderful love story with some searing hot steamy moments and laughs. I've read and listened to this story and both made me laugh and cry.. Lila does a fantastic job in the the telling of Carter and Summers story and their HEA.

A swoony sexy romance set in the wackiest town on earth.

I loved, loved this story. And oh the feels in this book - one minute I was snort laughing, the next I was swooning, then gasping, and then I was crying. Lila Winters’ narration added beautiful depth to a wonderful story. This was a swoony, hilarious, fun, sweet, steamy, heart warming opposites attract story with very little angst. Carter runs an organic farm in upstate NY in a quirky hippie loving town called Blue Moon. Summer is an editor with Indulgence, a fashion magazine based in NYC. The magazine does some human interest stories and Summer is assigned to do a piece on Pearce Acres. Carter and Summer meet when she comes to the farm to spend a week interviewing him for the article. Their lives are complete opposites but their attraction does not care and thus begins the speeding bullet train that is their journey toward their HEA. The interplay between the main characters, the interplay between the Pearce brothers, and the ridiculous but loving town just add to the wonderfulness of this story. This is a funny story but it’s also a deeply emotional story which includes witty dialogue, characters with depth, and an engaging storyline. When real life issues are included it makes for more three dimensional characters and more well rounded storylines. This was done perfectly here. I’m so excited to read the next book in this series.

Always good in Blue Moon

I read this series in book form first.the AndI enjoyed it immensely, I laughed out loud so many times, I pictured it the farm and town as I live in the Hudson Valley where I picture the community that was created.
It’s a must read and best done read in order.

Great audio of a lovely story

The world Lucy Score creates is lovely. It's not that bad things aren't happening, but healing and kindness is possible - and obviously true love, Laugh out loud. Great cast of characters.

This is a wonderful audio of the book with a very good voice artist - even if you prefer dual narrative give this a go - I suspect that you will enjoy it.

WHERE ARE THE OTHER FIVE BLUE MOON BOOKS?!!!!!!

I read all of the Blue Mon series some time ago - they’re all good & I was delighted to find Book 1 in audio … really enjoyed the performance - nice low female voice which is clear but not at all strident & good at both male and female voices. Went back to Audible looking to buy All the other five books but they weren’t there! Now see that Book only came out 3 days ago… I do hope the others will all be here soon!

Boring

Boring story like hundreds of others with sex in nearly every chapter. This is disappointing from an author I usually enjoy. I only kept listening because there was "a secret" and I was curious. I should have known it would be a fizzle. If you've never been in a relationship it might satisfy you, but for the rest of us, we probably have more drama and romance in our living rooms. Narrator was great and got my 5 stars. Story got 1.
