Publisher's Summary

I didn’t notice her before... but now I do. The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair. Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns. Her passion for neatness.

Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever. I need to know everything about her. Her past. Her present. The way she takes her coffee. Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings.

She’s perfect in every way, and I was blind. But, God, now do I see.

I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet. How she visits the same market each Saturday. The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.

Violet is mine. She just doesn’t know it yet.

Warning: Notice is a dark and unusual romance. Extreme sexual themes and violence in certain scenes, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you. If you aren't into super obsessive stalkers, then this story is not for you.

Loved this obsessively

Talk about an obsessive alpha male. Greyson will kill to keep his woman safe and his, even sleep under her bed. This audio is a mixture of past hurt and pain combined with new obsession and lust. Violet struggles with her abusive past while trying to come to terms with the intensity of her present lover. Both narrators nailed it. A great, hot, and sexy audio with sex that is down right yummy.

DNF. Everything about this is bad

The narration is awful. BOTH narrators. Which is a bummer, because Kylie Stewart is normally INCREDIBLE, so thinking it wasn't as much them as the fact that this story called for their robotic tone and performances. Seriously, listen to anything else Stewart has performed and you'll see what I mean. She's one of the absolute best and this is definitely not her norm, so pretty sure it's more the story here versus the two of them.

This just isn't good. This one isn't just unrealistic, but absurd. A few examples; she FULL ON fingers herself in her sleep. Like FULLY. Not rubbing or grazing, but like full on finger bang until she gets off...IN. HER. SLEEP. He completely undresses her and does all sorts of sh*t while she's sleeping, all of which would've woken anyone not on a hard ass sleeping med RX. Who knows, perhaps later down the story we find out h is prescribed ketamine or some sh*t like that and I DNFd before that tidbit dropped.
FMC is also an idiot and her characteristics are completely inconsistent. You're telling me her pos ex pimped her out, but she's so naive she has absolutely no idea when someone is hitting on her or being a slime ball trying to get her trashed to take advantage?Again, homegirls ex literally sold her to men for money, beat the sh*t out of her, serial raped her, and got her addicted to drugs, but she possesses the naivety of an 11 year old whose parent are also naive. People who survive shit like that are significantly smarter (street smart at the very least) than this nitwit was. God, just so dumb.

MMC, don't even get me started on him. It's not the stalker tendencies I mind. Not at all. That's precisely why I bought this...because I was in the mood for a creepy, obsessive stalker who was also an OTT hot alpha, so that's not the issue here. He's just inconsistently written with no depth or noteworthy traits (outside of stalker tendencies of course) just like the FMC.

The writing is consistent with everything else...not awesome.

Him: What do you think of this property?
Her: Fair market price. I think it's a good investment.
Him: How do you know all of these things? How do you know all of this? *voice tinged with amazement*
^ That is legitimately a conversation that occurs in this book. That pretty much sums up all dialogue. They make no damn sense. Feels like the music vid in stepbrothers where they just randomly throw out business jargon from various industries with no purpose. Spreadsheets. business meetings. Fair market value. Metrics. Office. <-like that. Just a bunch of random sh*t thrown together you hear around the office with no substance or real point even. That's just the vibe you get anytime the subject of business comes up.

She's worked for H for 6 years and he literally has no idea who she is when she turns in her notice. Not in a "I've never really looked at her way", but truly has no idea who she is. She's his direct assistant who's in front of him everyday all day and there's zero recognition. Eye roll

Just take my word for it and pass. Pass now before it's too late.

Why Bother

A complete waste of time. Pointless and stupid not to mention asinine. No wonder it was free.

What did I just listen too?!?!

This book was referred in a reading group I am in and the only thought I have is seriously WTF! I feel like I just wasted hours of my life on a book that is just a weird obsession that is 100% ridiculous. I don’t even want this in my purchased library.

Weird but Hot!

What a confusing story. I loves Grey and Violet. Is it bad that I wished the kidnapping from Vahn was longer and more detailed? Holy Alpha male hotness all over. Definetly did not expect the end with that chest! oh my!
Performance was awesome! This was duet style and loved it. Wish more books were narrated like that!

Pretty good story.

I finished this story in 2 days. Liked it so much that I stayed up listening for hours.
I love how Ms. Webster's mind works. I was wondering what would happen next the whole time. She writes about some extream behavioral conditions. I love the struggles they face.
Definitely worth the credit.

Uh-mazing

Oh Gray and your completely psychotic ways, why do I love thee??

This book is so incredibly smart and the author did such a good job at making the main character completely lovable along with his completely crazy ways. It is a fine line and it was walked, perfectly.

Kylie and Eric did a great job with the narration. Duet narration isn’t my favorite but they did such a good and made it completely believable.

I AM ALL ABOUT BROKEN PPL FINDING EACHOTHER

This was a little on the weird side. I don't really know why the author needed to include the chest situation. Wasn't it dark enough without that? This is something between dark romance & Stephen King. Good luck staying turned on. 👍🏻

Dark Stalker Romance

I love stalker romances and loved this one Gray is perfect his obsession with Violet is over the top just how you’d expect it to be. Even though he tries to hide his stalking from her when she finds out she’s able to cope with it after what Vaughn put her through. I read the novella after this it’s free on K Websters website and it’s about Grays son Thomas 🙂

Not bad but she’s written better

I enjoyed the story but the characters didn’t really grip me the way they have in other of her books. I wasn’t desperate for them to have a happy life together. I probably won’t listen to this one again but certainly wouldn’t return it for a refund.
