Went down hill fast.

Weaken MC trope: check

Prolong the relationship from happening by introducing another love interest trope. check

Lots of uneeded rambling to fill the pages. check

Cliffhanger that has the MC having to go after someone he's already beaten. check

I really liked the first 3 but this one was bad. Seemed like the author was rushed to get something out and this is the crap we're left with. Take your time and do better

Tangent fights

this book is much more focused on the individual fights and less about world building characters and following a flow of events. it seemed like a fight a struggle with plot just to fall into another fight, wallowing then another fight. definitely not the way I was hoping the series would go.

Weaker story than the previous but still good

Thorn's strengths are almost never ending, and for the most part it's not a bad thing but after 4 books I was hoping for more of a challenge other than a curse that only makes the story drag on.
definitely not my favorite but I'll get the last book to hopefully make up for a long drawn out 4th book. narrator also really loves putting emphasis in the word * BOOM * and again, the story repeats itself A LOT with each time Thorn reads his statuses or they address a character by their full name every time a dozen times in a paragraph.

Nova Terra Guardian,A worthy successor to book 3!

Nova Terra Guardian picks up where Kingbreaker ended. With a clear need the break free of the negative effects from completing the World Quest, Thorn must rely on his companions to break free from the curse.

The world of Nova Terra continues to expand as Thorn explores it and I find myself caught up in the action. Eric Jason Martin does another outstanding job narrating this audiobook.

4 down and wanting more!

Analogies to Thorn’s life and our world are not way off. Character development and creative design are optimal. Love this series.
