Publisher's Summary

Emery
It all comes down to this.

I should have known my freedom from Mercer would only last so long before my pack was hunted down, and I was dragged back into it all. It’s suffocating being back in this place that twisted my shifter side forever and threatened to change who I am. But this time is different.

Because I’m not alone.

As threats to us and our pack pile up, I’m forced to rely on Graham, the overly protective shifter I feel a strange pull toward. We know we have to get away to warn the others of what’s to come, but with Mercer’s shifters breathing down our necks, we’re being thrust into a fight for our lives. We are determined to make it back to the pack and tear down the threat before it consumes all of us.

Graham
I’ve literally never met a more stubborn man in my life than Emery, yet I can’t get him out of my head. He covers up his insecurities and concerns with snark and teasing, but I know that underneath it all is a man who just wants someone to give him a chance. And I’m prepared to be that person if we can fight our way through this. First, we have to escape the threat left behind by Mercer, but escaping isn’t enough. We need to destroy everything the group’s ever worked for to keep each other and our pack safe.

Join Graham, Emery, Rowan, and Quinn for the exciting conclusion to the Winsford Shifters trilogy. This series contains action-filled romance with a dash of comedy, and should be listened to in order.

Loved it!!!

I love love love this book. I really enjoyed seeing Emery grow through the series! I wish we got more from Graham’s perspective, I still don’t feel like I know him like I do the other 3 main characters. I sure hope Alice comes back to Winsford sometime even if it’s just a short story!
Narration was amazing! Greg Boudreaux always does an amazing job !!!

wonderful

It's review time 🎧
Warning ⚠️: the last book in a series, fantasy, not a standalone, animal shifters, an experiment.

Narrator score🎧 ; Greg did such a wonderful job with the whole series.... he gave to each character life... especially Ari.... the sass was in his voice it was brilliant.

Level of steam🔥: as always Alice's books aren't about the steam at all.... they are about the story... about thr characters about thr connections and more ... but steam isn't the main event at all.... you have some moments of course you do.... but it isn't the subject at all.

Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well..I already wrote that this series is much different from what Alice wrote so far ... yes she has one different series (within the mind) but this series comes as something else and it worked... you have action and drama..... and some very difficult moments but the book isn't sad... and it isn't too much.... the drama is there but it isn't nerve racking.... but you really want to keep going.

The book itself📖: well.... I loved the series so very much... I think this is the series where Alice has the most characters written that in any book she has... and yet again it isn't difficult to keep up with the story... because every character got into your heart and mind... yes my favorite character is Ari for sure but i can't say he is the best character of thr story ... I think that he is responsible for the comedy part of the story ... but you have so many good characters in here that you love and adore.... and I think this is why Alice is such a good author... she is making us the readers (listener's in this case ) to understand each character even the evil characters that lack of humanity in that case are humanized in their psycho ways...

Absolutely thrilling

I literally could not sleep because of this story...went through the 3 books so fast like my life depended on it! absolutly loved it! Wouldn't mind reading more of the shifters adventures but on a lighter and much happier tone.

Not sure this series is finished...

**Audiobook Review**

While there is some snark in this series it is a lot more serious and suspenseful than her other series. With what was happening to the shifters, some of whom were taken as children, to what happened to Rowan and his brother in his early years and what their father was still doing and all the death, this one was harder to get through. It is still entertaining but heavier.

Greg Bordeaux does a fantastic job as always…with every single voice and there are many.

I’m curious if there will be more to this series as some of the storylines seem dangled.

When a Series is really an excellent story too big for one book

Greg Boudreaux’s performance is top notch. Although I will admit a bit of confusion at one small point. The overall story was awesome, probably could have been edited a tiny bit to remove the same descriptive paragraphs, that, by the third book were unnecessary & a bit annoying.
I will read this series another three times-minimum, so I catch somethings I may have missed the first run through.
Props to Alice Winters for writing a Fantasy story that deals with real life issues.
Discrimination is never ok. I believe too many people have chosen to ignore real life occurrences; either because as a Generation, the subject matter makes them uncomfortable or, sadly, some choose to hate anyone or anything that isn’t “their ideal world” instead of opening their minds & hearts and learning just how beautiful and diverse humans can be.

love it

I absolutely love this series, it's a great mix of comedy and drama with out losing the story line, once I started this series I couldn't stop, I've listened to all three books to completion within the first 24hours of buying them because ei just couldn't stop myself, Its rare that I find a series where I enjoy the story and the narration but this is one of them.
