Story
It's not easy being Satan. There are the long hours (that stretch into eternity), and Hell seems to have more admissions than it can cope with. One of the new arrivals is Edith, a historian, athlete, and humanitarian. And she's trouble: she refuses to believe she's dead, she knows Thomas, and she's not afraid of Satan. But will the Grand Tour, which includes the Pit of Musicians, the Lake of Fire, and the Pit of Health and Safety Inspectors, finally make her realise where she's ended up?

Andy Hamilton's complete 4th Series of this comedy winner from Radio 4. Satan's got the health inspector in and it seems that the lighting in hell isn't up to scratch but that's the least of his worries, with bad Feng-Shui, no sleep and some atrocious poetry not even Helen of Troy can perk up his day. Story
All four series of the hilarious historical sitcom set just before and during the American Revolution. Baltimore, 1770, and shopkeeper Samuel Oliphant has much to worry about. Storm clouds are gathering, business is bad and to make matters worse, he’s been forced to play host to two British soldiers. Hapless officer Captain Brimshaw is decent enough, but his fellow redcoat - the one-eyed, one-eared, one-armed and one-legged Sergeant McGurk - is a shameless rascal obsessed with money and sex.

Somewhere on the frontier between thought and reality exists the Discworld, a parallel time and place that might sound and smell very much like our own, but which looks completely different. Particularly as it’s carried though space on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown). It plays by different rules. But then, some things are the same everywhere. The Disc’s very existence is about to be threatened by a strange new blight: the world’s first tourist, upon whose survival rests the peace and prosperity of the land.

Publisher's Summary
Jean Paul Sartre said, 'Hell is other people'. But, as Satan will tell you, Hell is actually a fiery, unendingly cruel domain where Oliver Reed can never quite catch the barman's eye and Yves St Laurent is forced to wear a donkey jacket. But Hell is about to become more hellish for Satan himself (Andy Hamilton).
Not only is the historian Edith Barrington (Annette Crosbie) taking for ever to write his biography, An Angel Misunderstood, but everything is thrown into confusion when a dog turns up. Animals aren't meant to end up in Hell because they're not evil - well, except for dolphins of course. So why is it here?
After much licking, begging and slobbering - mainly from Scumspawn - Satan decides to keep the dog and ask God (Timothy West) what is going on. But God has decided to go on a gap year to find himself. And Hell receives another, even more inexplicable guest...
All six episodes from the seventh series of BBC Radio 4's Sony Award-winning comedy set in Hell.

Good Clean Fun
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Yes, depends on your humour but this is good old clean funny. I highly recommend getting a few seasons and if you like the first few episodes .. This season is not as good as the rest, still good but nowhere near as good as the others. There is a feeling of more repetition .

Hilarious
I can't believe I missed this series on the radio! I have all of Andy Hamilton's "Old Harry's Game" series (with the exception of series 3). If you liked any of the previous series you will love this one. Here we find Satan in his domain when a dog (some cute mongrel) and a baby (which Scumspawn calls 'Satan Junior' much to Satan's annoyance) turn up. Satan knows there is a cock up and tries to get to the end of it and is seen by a couple of 'middle management' angels who tell him that God is not available. Satan requested to see God and is then seen by the Angel Gabriel whom he has some fun with before God turns up from his sabbatical to sort the mess out. Along the way Satan is brought to book by Enid which infuriates him and of course, Thomas is as despicable as ever even though he takes the dog for walkies to befriend it and ends up being 'double crossed' with his emotions. This is as good as ever and I recommend this series to everyone.
