Maybe you feel like a living zombie. You are afraid that you cannot take care of your newborn because of the sleep you are missing. All moms and dads have been there.

If you don't believe in letting your baby cry it out, but desperately want to sleep, there is now a third option, presented in Elizabeth Pantley's sanity-saving audiobook The No-Cry Sleep Solution.

Great content but missing useful PDF download
I have heard great things about this book and the methodology; however, the unfortunate issue with listening to it rather than having a physical book is there are appendix and charts they reference that are hard to follow with the reader. It would have been helpful to have these available as a PDF download as a part of this purchase. The reader is pretty dry but then again the material isn't necessarily riveting so I suppose it fits. I would suggest buying the book in addition to the audiobook so that you can follow along better and have the charts they reference.

Narrator hard to understand
I’ve read this book in hard copy so I know what it says but I still find it very difficult to understand this narrator. It’s as if the sound recording drops out, or he simply doesn’t enunciate certain letters/sounds. It’s like hearing half-words - which is completely distracting.

Worst narrator ever
I barely got through this whole book because the narrator was terrible!! I pushed through because This book was recommended by so many people and I was really interested in reading it, but I feel like I didn’t take much from it because I couldn’t get past the readers voice. I know there are other versions out there so if you want to listen to this book then do yourself a favor and get another version read by someone else!

Great book for any parent!
This book was a life-saver for us and our three boys (now ages 7, 4, and 2). The routine was freeing for both my wife and I, as well as our newborns. It lays out a great guideline to help your baby sleep, which less face it- is good for everyone in the family. It brought sanity to our routine, and I would recommend it to anyone with a new baby in their life.

The narrator is so unenthusiastic and monotonous
Listening to the reader makes you immediately lose interest within 1 min of hearing his voice. It seems like he was struggling to read each word. I think the content is useful but delivered horribly. You don’t notice it until you are near the end of the book and find yourself not remembering many things that were talked about. Also there should be documentation or charts supplied with this in order to follow the sleep-feed plan better.

Balance Between Routine & Baby’s Needs
I have been impressed with the authors’ outlook on parenting and how that ties into the babywise caring method. They constantly come back to having a good balance between routine and your baby’s needs. I think this book is a must for any parents, new or sending/thirds parents and I have already started recommending it to other moms I know.
Ps. I do however wish I got the kindle version as I feel it might be better for future quick referencing.

This audio book far exceeded my expectations! I have had no time to read up on parenting and with my due date fast approaching, I’ve been feeling exceptionally anxious about my lack of preparation. This book, I feel, covers all of the essential areas. I feel much better equipped. I’d almost go as far as to say confident :)
