Publisher's Summary

First loves deserve a second chance in an all-new small-town, billionaire romance by New York Times best-selling author, K. Bromberg.

The requirement is ridiculous but simple. Spend two months in Cedar Falls, and play the mayor’s games to ensure that The Retreat, Sharpe International’s newest resort, can open. But I have a history with this small Montana town. One I’d tried to forget but never could. Asher Wells. My lavender girl.

She’d had dreams and aspirations to leave Cedar Falls and make her mark on the world. So why is she still here, standing in front of me? And more importantly, why is she looking at me with hurt in her eyes when I was the one who‘d been forced to leave or else face the damning consequences of that night?

I have everything in life: money, success, an empire to run—everything except for one very important thing. Her. Fifteen years is a long time to wonder what if. I’ll be damned if I leave town this time without her.

Are you ready to fall for the Sharpe brothers in K. Bromberg's sexy, contemporary, billionaire romance series? Listen to On One Condition today!

Unconditionally wonderful second chance

Ledger and Asher were summer vacation friends for 3 years until they were torn apart by lies told by Ledger's father. Now 17 years later , Ledger is back to help his family get a resort built. He runs into Asher and both think the other didn't show at their meeting place. Will they be able to get past the misunderstandings? I really enjoyed this second book in this series and I'm looking forward to the next one. J.K. Harding and Muffy Newtown were wonderful narrators.

felt like I was in a speed reading class

I loved the story. Tootie was a riot. That girl needs to show up in other places. I felt like the narration was rushed at times. As if it was being read at 2-3x the natural speed without any punctuation. At first I thought I had changed the speed accidentally but I hadn't. Other than that I enjoyed the overall performance.

It’s ok but….

Storyline is ok. “Ledger’s” character and voice is good as he’s responsible for the 2 stars.
Female performer is horrible and annoying as hell. The whispering singsong tone is unrealistic and sounds fake. Her impression of a male voice is one of the word I’ve ever heard.
It was a tough listen but I finished it

Nice 2nd Addition

The book is well written, but I had a really hard time to the Myffy Newtown. she whipers a lot and sounds as if she's singing the words. inhad to skip a few times when she was narrating.

Emotional punch

Just when I didn’t think the emotional punch would be coming it came without warning. Asher and Ledger have a great story with both overcoming past obstacles I loved what a strong independent women Asher was and when Ledger had the mind opening experience of realizing she just needed someone to stand next to her not fix anything. I cannot say enough about his story which did take me a little time to get hooked into but once done no release.

The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing them to life and speaking so smoothly. .

Great Characters Brought to Life by a Great Cast

This small town, second chance romance was an amazing read! Great secondary characters like Tutti and Callahan. The main characters will have you rooting for them and their happily ever after. All brought to life by an amazing cast that had me wanting to keep listening.

Ledger is a successful businessman whose family use to spend summers at Cedar
Falls. It’s a place where he and his brothers use to relax and have fun. For Ledger it was the place where he met the love of his life, Asher, his Lavender Girl. Asher was the girl from a very different world than Ledger. A small town girl who was paying for her mom’s indiscretions. All was well until one day when their world is torn apart. Ledger leaves Cedar Falls and disappears from Asher’s life.

Fifteen years later Ledger and his brothers are building a resort in Cedar Falls. Part of the agreement is that one of the brothers spends two months in the small town. Who do they choose? That’s right Ledger. He returns to Cedar Falls and into Asher’s life. Asher has been back in Cedar Falls to take care of her family’s lavender farm. She doesn’t have time for Ledger. Slowly but surely he works his way back into her life. Asher is one of my favorite heroines. She doesn’t just give into Ledger. She stands her ground and wants to succeed on her own merit. She cannot deny their chemistry. It gets harder and harder to resist. Ledger is swoon worthy the things he is willing to do to win her back is amazing. It just hits you right in the heart. I loved every second.

Predictably Entertaining

Overall I liked the book. The story was more predictable than the first book in the series. There were fewer intimate scenes but they were just as well written. My only major dislike was in the female reader. The inflection in her voice was off putting and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish because of it.

Great story and narration

On One Condition is the second book in K. Bromberg’s latest S.I.N. series and I loved it. From the first chapter to the last I was totally invested in Ledger Sharpe and Asher Wells second chance at love story set in Cedar Falls, Montana.
The last thing Ledger ever expected was to be returning to Cedar Falls after fifteen years. However if he is to successfully convince the town that their latest resort, The Retreat should be approved then he has no choice. Re connecting with the woman who broke his heart is not what he expected and yet that is what happens.
Ledger and Asher’s past is complicated with both believing the other broke their heart. What happens when they come face to face once again? Will they be able to come to terms with the past, forgive and move on? The narration by Muffy Newtown and J.F. Harding really brought not only the characters but the story to life for me.
For fear of spoiling this wonderful story I will be brief, suffice to say that this is K. Bromberg at her best. The writing is strong, the characters easy to relate to and the storyline riveting.
One click this little gem, you won’t be disappointed.
