Publisher's Summary

First loves deserve a second chance in an all-new small-town, billionaire romance by New York Times best-selling author, K. Bromberg.

The requirement is ridiculous but simple. Spend two months in Cedar Falls, and play the mayor’s games to ensure that The Retreat, Sharpe International’s newest resort, can open. But I have a history with this small Montana town. One I’d tried to forget but never could. Asher Wells. My lavender girl.

She’d had dreams and aspirations to leave Cedar Falls and make her mark on the world. So why is she still here, standing in front of me? And more importantly, why is she looking at me with hurt in her eyes when I was the one who‘d been forced to leave or else face the damning consequences of that night?

I have everything in life: money, success, an empire to run—everything except for one very important thing. Her. Fifteen years is a long time to wonder what if. I’ll be damned if I leave town this time without her.

Are you ready to fall for the Sharpe brothers in K. Bromberg's sexy, contemporary, billionaire romance series? Listen to On One Condition today!

Unconditionally wonderful second chance

Ledger and Asher were summer vacation friends for 3 years until they were torn apart by lies told by Ledger's father. Now 17 years later , Ledger is back to help his family get a resort built. He runs into Asher and both think the other didn't show at their meeting place. Will they be able to get past the misunderstandings? I really enjoyed this second book in this series and I'm looking forward to the next one. J.K. Harding and Muffy Newtown were wonderful narrators.

Suspense, romance and an intriguing 2nd chance lovers storyline!

Another phenomenal book in the S.I.N. series!! This 2nd chance lovers book has suspense, romance and a storyline that will take hold or your heart! Ledger is the eldest Sharpe brother and gets sent to Cedar Falls for 2 months as a stipulation from the Mayor there in order to open their new resort. It’s also the town where the Sharpe family used to spend their summers as kids and where he met and left behind his first love, Asher, 15 years ago. Their past is intertwined throughout the book in flashbacks that will have your head spinning and filling in blanks along the way. The suspense and curiosity of the story will have you turning this book page after page while also rooting for Ledger and Asher along the way! An incredibly engaging and interesting storyline!

“This isn’t over, Asher. Not by a long shot. I’m not a patient man, but I’ve waited fifteen years to kiss you again . . . what’s a few more days?”

The narration of this book is so well done! Muffy Newton and J.F. Harding are two narrators I haven’t heard much from before but they did an amazing job performing this book! Their voices were so pleasing to listen, especially J.F. Harding’s voice for Ledger!

Good Story

Unique concept with hot triplet brothers. This is one in a series of 3 books where each brother finds his true love. Each book stands alone well but you’ll probably want to read the rest. Wish it had been a little longer. Think I will always find Ms. Newtowns style of narration with the uplift at the end of each sentence distracting.

Love the brothers of S.I.N.

Ahhhhh Ledger is truly swoon-worthy. Asher and he were meant for each other, but there story was heartbreaking and anger inducing. The narrator's were amazing, too. I'll definitely be relistening to it again. And again. And again.

A beautiful second-chance romance.

*******************
Why did you come here tonight?
Because when it comes to you, Asher, I can’t seem to stay away.

*******************

Well it’s been a while since I listened to book one, but it was fun being back with the Sharpe triplets. This time we have Ledger the oldest triplet and his second-chance romance with Asher, his Lavender Girl. I do love a good second-chance romance, and Kristy wrote this one so well. Of course neither of them realised it was someone else who ruined their first chance, and now Ledger is on a mission to get his girl back. Asher is way more cautious but ultimately cannot resist his charms.

This has a lovely small-town feel, and for me the show stealer was Toodie. She was hilarious. I, like Hilary (Ledger’s employee) want to be like her when I grow up! Such sage advice from one so young!

The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and the bedroom heat is dee-licious!!!

You can always depend on a great performance from Muffy. Her ability to voice multiple characters is awesome. J F is fast becoming a favourite of mine. He was perfect as Ledger, giving us his charm, urgency, and the desperate need to win Asher over. Another great audiobook.

For a sweeter romance with a healthy dose of spice choose ON ONE CONDITION.

felt like I was in a speed reading class

I loved the story. Tootie was a riot. That girl needs to show up in other places. I felt like the narration was rushed at times. As if it was being read at 2-3x the natural speed without any punctuation. At first I thought I had changed the speed accidentally but I hadn't. Other than that I enjoyed the overall performance.

It’s ok but….

Storyline is ok. “Ledger’s” character and voice is good as he’s responsible for the 2 stars.
Female performer is horrible and annoying as hell. The whispering singsong tone is unrealistic and sounds fake. Her impression of a male voice is one of the word I’ve ever heard.
It was a tough listen but I finished it
