Story
Ari Helix may have won her battle against the tyrannical Mercer corporation, but the larger war has just begun. Ari and her cursed wizard Merlin must travel back in time to the unenlightened Middle Ages and steal the King Arthur's Grail - the very definition of "impossible". It's imperative that the time travelers not skew the timeline and alter the course of history. Coming face to face with the original Arthurian legend could produce a ripple effect that changes everything. Somehow Merlin forgot that the past can be even more dangerous than the future...

Story
Ambrose wakes up on the Coordinated Endeavor with no memory of a launch. There’s more that doesn’t add up: evidence indicates strangers have been on board, the ship’s operating system is voiced by his mother, and his handsome, brooding shipmate has barricaded himself away. But nothing will stop Ambrose from making his mission succeed—not when he’s rescuing his own sister.

Story
The Borderlands aren't like anywhere else. Don't try to smuggle a phone or any other piece of technology over the wall that marks the Border - unless you enjoy a fireworks display in your backpack. (Ballpoint pens are okay.) There are elves, harpies, and - best of all as far as Elliot is concerned - mermaids. Elliot? Who's Elliot? Elliot is 13 years old. He's smart and just a tiny bit obnoxious. Sometimes more than a tiny bit. When his class goes on a field trip and he can see a wall that no one else can see, he is given the chance to go to school in the Borderlands.

Story
Seventeen-year-old cynic Saoirse Clarke isn't looking for a relationship. But when she meets mischievous Ruby, that rule goes right out the window. Sort of. Because Ruby has a loophole in mind: a summer of all the best cliché movie montage dates, with a definite ending come fall - no broken hearts, no messy breakup. It would be the perfect plan, if they weren’t forgetting one thing about the Falling in Love Montage: when it's over, the characters have fallen in love...for real.

"My name is Larkspur, and I am an Elemental." My people use the power of the earth to sustain life and defy our enemies. I should be at my father's side as a royal princess. But as a half-breed, bastard child, that isn't going to happen. I've been accused of attacking the queen, my wicked stepmother, and my life is suddenly on the line. I have only two options left to me: banishment, or training to become one of the King's Elite Guards, an Ender. Option one will kill me. Option two is meant to break me, but is the only way to survive.

Publisher's Summary
King Arthur as you've never imagined! This bold, sizzling YA retells the popular legend with the once and future king as a teenage girl - and she has a universe to save.
I've been chased my whole life. As a fugitive refugee in the territory controlled by the tyrannical Mercer corporation, I've always had to hide who I am. Until I found Excalibur.
Now, I'm done hiding.
My name is Ari Helix. I have a magic sword, a cranky wizard, and a revolution to start.
When Ari crash-lands on Old Earth and pulls a magic sword from its ancient resting place, she is revealed to be the newest reincarnation of King Arthur. Then she meets Merlin, who has aged backward over the centuries into a teenager, and together, they must break the curse that keeps Arthur coming back. Their quest? Defeat the cruel, oppressive government and bring peace and equality to all humankind.
No pressure.

Once & Future...but always the same story
I rather enjoyed this take on the Arthurian legend of old. The characters were lively and you wanted to cheer on their successes. However, it’s the adhering too much to TH White’s tale that left me with horrible betrayal. For myself, I despise the Arthur-Gwen-Lancelot parable so much I was hoping for a change in this story. I was woefully disappointed. A good story but too much like the original that it’ll be a long time before I look to the sequel.

A Must Read-Hillarious-LGBT Pride Masterpiece
On this amazing retelling of White's _Once and Future King_ we have all the twists and moral challenges of thw Arthurian Legend taken to a galactic scale. It accurately captures life as it would be under a corporate reality tv and product marketing tie Capitalist utopia, where you every need is met before your are even aware if it, because of ubiquitous computers tracking your needs and desires.
Lots of hot LGBTQ sex scenes between main character, withoutnany religious taboo for Gwenniviere mistakingly cheating on her Ari (female arthur character). And as Merlyn grows to a younger teen, his homoerotic scenes are award winning.
This parody of the Arthurian legends is sublime, and a very enjoyable listen. The reader was outstanding.

Fantastic Story great narrator
This is my third read through of this book. It checks so many boxes for me: Mythology, space, romance, silly characters. The authors weave such a great story and I keep coming back to the story every year. It also has great gender inclusive language and representation not only across relationship, sexuality, and race. Plus the story zips right along.

This reads exactly like a TTRPG campaign
Everyone talks about Lord of the Rings when they talk about things like Dungeons and Dragons, but this story right here captures the EXACT kind of mood and tone that actually playing feels like.
It has everything from dumb goofy moments to corporate sponsored planetary genocide. The pacing could probably improve, but personally that just adds to the charm since it's paced exactly like a game.
Also, this book is like, extremely fucking gay. EXTREMELY.
