Publisher's Summary

The story that inspired the Hallmark Original movie! He’s a royal prince. She’s an ordinary girl. But this holiday could change everything.

Susanna Truitt never dreamed of a great romance or being treated like a princess — just to marry the man she has loved for 12 years. But life isn’t going according to plan. When her high-school-sweetheart-turned-Marine-officer breaks up with her instead of proposing, Susanna scrambles to rebuild her life.

The last thing Prince Nathaniel expects to find on his American holiday to St. Simons Island is the queen of his heart. The prince has duties, and his family’s tense political situation means he won’t be able to marry for love or even choose his own bride. When Prince Nathaniel stops to help Susanna, who is stranded with a flat tire under the fabled Lover’s Oak, he is immediately enchanted by her. And even though he’s a total stranger, Susanna finds herself pouring her heart out to him.

Their lives are worlds apart, and soon Nathaniel must face the ultimate choice: his kingdom or her heart?

Too much religion

This is way too much religion. It’s a great book for a 14 year old or”christian faith” person though. Half way through and have to give up. Narrator can’t carry me through. It’s too meh.

Very Religious

There is way too much religion in this book for it not to have been mentioned in the description! I don't usually read reviews before purchasing books, but I really wish I would have this time. The book isn't terrible, but the constant references to Christianity- specifically God's plan- is very unappealing and has made this a difficult book to get through. I would not have purchased this book if the description had accurately reflected the religious nature of the book, and I will not be reading more books by this author.

Jesus freeks Welcome

Subtle then harder Jesus proselytizing. I’m not interested in religion with my novels. What a horrible waste of time and money

Enjoyed this story!

I found this story very refreshing. So many stories are full of profanity. This story was not. I feel comfortable letting my teenage granddaughter read it. I was also impressed with the faith the characters express. And I like happy endings!

Prince + heaps of God shoved down your throat.

This story is wonderful, but be warned that the author brings up God every few sentences and keeping the faith in God is shoved at you a tremendous amount. I somehow missed that important detail in the plot description and wouldn’t have listened to this had I known. If you don’t like listening about religion then try a different author, I will.

Really horrible religious "romance" book

Name seemed promising, reviews seemed good but in actuality it was some religious, badly written wanna-be-romance. Never ever again.
